BLACKJACK
All the players of the table play against the Dealer
with the aim of getting a score closer to 21 then the
Dealer without going over (bust).
Before play can start your bet must be placed in the
box nearest
to you, or that of the hand you wish to stake on. Check
the minimum bets for the table before you start.
The Dealer will deal a card (face up) to each player
including himself followed by a second face up card to
everyone (apart himself).
Check your cards. If they total 21 you’ve got Blackjack which
pays out at 3-2 as long as the Dealer’s first card isn’t ten on
has a value of ten (J, Q, K) or is an Ace. That’s because the
Dealer could also make a Blackjack when his second card is
drawn. If that’s happen then the hand is a tie and you can
keep your bet staked.
If you don’t have a Blackjack you still have options.
If you think your hand is closer to 21 then the Dealer’s you
could ‘stand’ and take no more cards. Or you can keep taking
cards in an attempt to reach 21. You can also make additional
bets. Splits – you may split any pair other then fours, fives,
and tens (including face cards) for an additional equivalent
bet. Double down – you may place an amount equivalent to
your original stake on any hand which has 9, 10 or 11, with
two bet, you will receive one additional card only.
Then the Dealer will deal himself his second card. With a
hand of 16 or less he must take another card. With a hand of
17 or over he must stand.

Whoever has a
hand left that’s
closer to 21
wins.

PUNTO BANCO
This is a game of chance where you don’t actually have a
hand of your own to bet on. Instead you choose which of two
hands will have a value closest to a count of nine. There are
two hands dealt – the banks (‘Banco’) hand and the player’s
(‘Punto’).
Once you have placed your bet on the bank or player, the
game can begin by the Banker dealing two cards to both
bank and player. Further cards may be dealt in accordance
with game rules depending on the value of the initial cards.
The value of the cards is added up and whichever is closest
in value to nine wins. And if you’ve picked the right hand, so
do you.
When adding up the value of the hand, remember to keep
in mind that the value of the cards are a little different from
normal.
• Tens, Kings, Queens and Jacks count as zero
• Aces counts as one
• All other cards at face value
If the value of both cards is more then 9, the last digit is the
value of the hand (e.g. 8+6=14, so the value of the hand
is 4). If the value is less then 5 then a third card must be
dealt.
Bet on the player’s hand and win and the pay out is
evens. If you bet on the bank’s hand its 19-20 (you get
your bet back and win the same again minus 5%).
Before the cards are dealt, you can also make an
additional side bet on the hands being even. If that
happens it pays out at 8-1.

THREE CARD POKER
This game is played against the Dealer. To win you need a
better hand then the Dealer or get a pair or higher.
This is because there are two bets a player can make – Ante
and the optional Pair Plus. The Ante bet is required to play
the game, while the Pair Plus is a separate bet that
the player’s hand will be at least a pair.
Winning hand Ante bets are paid
even money, however, a bonus is
awarded if a player has one of
the following hands:
• Straight 1-1
• Tree of a kind 4-1
• Straight flush 5-1
Wining hand Pair Plus payout:
• Pair 1-1
• Flush 4-1
• Straight 6-1
• Three of a kind 33-1
• Straight Flush 35-1
Once each player has put in his Ante
(starting bid) the game can begin. The
Dealer deals three face down cards to each player
and himself. If the player decides his hand is good enough
to continue the game, he must place an amount equal to his
Ante bet in the play box on top of his cards. If he decides his
hand will not beat the Dealer’s, he may ‘fold’ his hand and
forfeit his Ante bet.

To play the game the Dealer’s hand must have a
Queen or better. If the Dealer doesn’t have a good
enough hand to play, player’s Ante bet is paid at even
money.
If the Dealer stays in the game, the Dealer will
compare his hand with the players. If your hand is
better then the Dealer’s, you win and receive the
appropriate pay out. And you’ll also receive any
winnings from a pair plus side bet.

ROULETTE
A game of pure chance requires you to correctly predict
which number from 0 to 36 the white ball will land on.
The skill required here is in spreading your risk when you
place your bets. You can bet on any one number, which as it
is the highest risk pays out the largest amount (35-1). And in
combinations up to and including, all the red or black, odd,
even, high or low which all pay out even money (1-1) because
you have a much higher chance to winning.
To start, place your money on the table, the Dealer swaps the
cash for Roulette chips that have a colour or marking that is
unique for you. It’s these chips you play with. On the table
you’ll see a grid of numbers that corresponds to the numbers
on the Roulette wheel, this is known as the ‘layout’.
To bet on a single number put your chip directly on it. If you
want to spread over two numbers place your bet on the line
between them. And to bet on four, place your chip on the
corners where the lines cross.
If someone has already taken the number you want, don’t
worry, simply put your chip on the top of theirs. You can bet
as many times as you like until
the Dealers says ‘No
more bets’, then
spin the wheel
and the
game is
on.

After each game the Dealer
will remove the losing chips
and then pay out to all
the winners in turn. Your
winning bets remain on
the layout, and your
