GUIDED TEA BREWING + SOCIAL IN-FLIGHT TRACKER + MEDIA GARDEN HEALTH & CARE
An app that has on-screen instructions, timer,
weights, measurements, temperatures for
different types of tea leaves and brewing/steeping
methods. I’d also like to incorporate a social feed,
where users can log/share what they’re drinking by
giving their tea a rating.
An app for an airline (Southwest?) that has
information about the current flight. Altitude,
speed, time elapsed, weather, arrival time. All
displayed in an attractive UI. This app could also be
used for all in-flight media. TV shows, movies, wifi
purchasing.
With the use of bluetooth water/sun/temperature
monitors, this app would give health updates
on your garden/crops and give reports about
suggested harvest time windows among other
useful information.

FILTRU MIGHTY TIMER BREW TEA
PROS: Sleek design,
many methods,
customizable, store for
shopping, BT scales.
CONS: Only coffee, no
social aspect, Discover
tab feels useless, cart
feels like money grab/
sponsored.
PROS: Able to add
custom tea, search all
teas, sort: recent, dark/
light mode, nice colors.
CONS: Essentially a
glorified timer/temp
catalogue. Some fonts are
way too thin.
PROS: Tasting notes and
tips, caffine tips, wide
selection, nice pics.
CONS: Still just a timer/
temp information
catalogue. Has banner
ads, no good sort option.
In-flight tracker + media
An app for an airline (Southwest?) that has information about the current flight. Altitude, speed, time elapsed,
weather, arrival time. All displayed in an attractive UI. This app could also be used for all in-flight media. TV
shows, movies, wifi purchasing.
FLIGHTRADAR24 FLIGHT TRACKER SOUTHWEST
PROS: Closest to what
I have in mind. Map
customization, crazy 3D
view, filters, tons of info
for each flight.
CONS: Doesn’t look as
attractive as it could, kind
of buggy to close a flight.
PROS: Has huge list of
airports and maps. Ability
to add “my flights”.
CONS: Can’t track insky
flights and their info.
App is very cluttered and
confusing. Repetitive
menus.
PROS: On brand, well
developed.
CONS: Hard to see inflight
screens when you’re
not in-flight. Current app
has checkin/status pages
which isn’t what my app
would be.
Garden health & care
With the use of bluetooth water/sun/temperature monitors, this app would give health updates on your
garden/crops and give reports about suggested harvest time windows among other useful information.
GARDENIA GREENFINGERS MY GARDEN
PROS: Weather features,
advanced settings for
tending to flowers, tons of
information on water/soil.
Looks good.
PROS: Centered around
BT devices. Nice icons.
CONS: Not many plants
to choose from.
PROS: Syncs with your
location for project ideas.
Ex: add chives to garden.
Gives what you’ll need,
timeline, tasks.
CONS: Only supports
flowers. A little confusing
on notification support.
CONS: Fresh tips tab
feels extra, no ability
to add custom img, no
support for BT devices.
