parasites. Soon, everyone was well-aware that ethanol is pretty
good at killing all kinds of germs and diseases except the fungal
ones. Only this little part became a drawback for ethanol to be used
for sanitizing purposes. But soon, the work on ethanol continued,
and another researcher in 1911 discovered out that 70% to 90%
ethanol kills most of the microbial contaminants, and thus it is the
most effective dose of ethanol. Later in 1936, an isomer of ethanol
was discovered that is isopropyl alcohol, which is a slightly more
complex type of alcohol. It showed even better results than the
ethanol itself and proved to be more efficient as an antiseptic than
the ethanol compound.
Later on in the year 1946, in Akron, Ohio, a couple of team Goldie
and Jerome Lippman founded their company named GOJO. And

to scrub off grease and oil from the skin.
The hand cleaning product was famous, and due to its high
demand, the company tried to produce more products for which
they required raw materials and so the price of the raw materials
spiked in 1973. This gave the company owners new creative ideas,
and the company began to look forward to other possibilities and
variations of hand cleaners. By the year 1988, GOJO brand came
up with a new formula that is a thick glue some isopropyl hand
sanitizer which was accompanied with antimicrobial, antibacterial
and antiviral agents and some other chemicals also. Essential oils
were also used in the formulation to make the product gentle and
suitable for its application on the delicate skin of human hands.
