THE PRODUCT is custom-made, making each bottle a unique copy. The cork is naturally grown and sourced from Portugal. Hand sealed string around the neck underlines the artisan feel of the product. The shield and spears are the most precious possessions of the Maasai, Zulu and other tribes, and symbolise the defence against attacks. The back-label represents a map of South Africa as discovered by 19 th century explorers. The logo design as a stamp is a nod to the many letters of early botanists and explorers of Africa, recounting the great stories of their discoveries. Each bottle bears the name of a past great tusker or an elephant, we help to protect. All labels are hand-written by a calligrapher. 6
Elephant Sloe Gin combines the taste of the premium London Dry Gin with the classic flavour of fresh sloe berries. Macerated in the gin for several months, these wild berries add a richly rounded, lightly sweet and exquisitely fruity bouquet as well as a typical warm red colour to the spirit. Compared to other sloe gins, Elephant Sloe Gin has a relatively low sugar content paired with a higher alcohol volume of 35%.
