Welcome
This wasn’t quite the gathering we were
hoping for this August Bank Holiday but we
hope our virtual festival will go some way to
delivering your annual dose of Shrewsbury
Folk Festival magic in these strange times.
As you would expect, there’s a little bit of
everything you would normally enjoy during a
weekend of folk fabulousness at the festival.
Some brilliant music, workshops to try your hand at new
skills, the chance for a dance, fun for the kids and the
opportunity to catch up with your festival friends in the bar.

Check the programme to see what is on when and we’ll be sharing the live events on our
YouTube channel once they’ve been broadcast. There are lots of activities that you can
dip in and out of at your leisure so you can make up your own perfect festival weekend!
Don’t forget to share your festival frolics with us – tag the festival in your posts on
Facebook, Twitter and Instagram so we can see how you recreate your own virtual SFF in
your living room or garden. Use the hashtag #vsff20.
