My original book, 101 Dog Tricks, has been incredibly well received with over a half-million copies

in print worldwide. Kids love that book, however I noticed that they would invariably pick out the

flashiest tricks to try to teach their dog (tricks like 'fetch a soda from the fridge'). Needless to say,

they weren't very successful.         Through teaching 4H programs I was inspired to

write a version of my book tailored especially for kids; a book with simple tricks, games, and crafts

that kids and dogs could actually be successful at. I brought some kids to the photo studio,

showed them how to train a dog, and 5 minutes later we captured the process in photos. The

result was sensational-- because it was real! Kids are intrigued by photos of other kids. With this

book, kids can self-direct and study and mimic the step-by-step photos. It makes it easy for them
