President’s Report
Well...what a year it’s been!! We have had some major curve balls thrown our way and we have come
through some pretty tough times in a way that makes me very proud of our team. I know that I emphasise
TEAM a lot but the main reason for our success, in my opinion, is that we function as a cohesive unit. This
year we have had some new faces on Committee and with them comes new skill sets, ideas and points of
view. I’d like to acknowledge and thank the all of our members, particularly our hard-working Committee,
for a job well done.
Our Team
I’ll start with our Club Captain, Andrew “Lobba” Curven. Just happens to be our Lifesaver of the Year, FSC
Branch Lifesaver of the Year and nominee for the State Lifesaver of the Year award. Andrew also
contributes to the FSC Branch as Powercraft Coordinator. Without his leadership and dedication to our
club we would not be where we are. My thanks also to Vice-President, Steve O’Sullivan. He’s always there
when needed and is a perfect example of quiet and capable leadership. They’re joined by a great team
comprised of well-rounded skill sets that help make each year better than the last at our Club.

Ten of the team are new to the committee this year and we’re also proud to have a Nipper and an SRC
member on the committee. They bring a valuable perspective and do a great job of keeping the more
senior troops in line! Thank you all for your contributions this past year. A truly amazing team.
