Since our inception businesses have been attracted to Big Media USA because of the assistance we
provide in helping them hone their message. The production of a podcast is a key part of what we
do, by helping a business or individual or non-profit focus their message; who is the best person to
deliver it and where to place the message is the magic.
?The Good News? is that the internet has made it easy for people to shop for products and services.
?The Bad News? is that it has also made it harder for businesses and sole practitioners to
differentiate themselves from their competitors.
How do you stack up against you competitors? If a potential client/customer looks at my on line
presence vs. my competitors do I win??
Everyone has a web site; no matter how nice it is in today?s fast moving world a web site simply isn?t
enough.
Big Media USA?s Digital Marketing Package is designed to improve your online image and more.
Third party content is invaluable and adds creditably to you and your image.
The 1st Pillar of our program is a Podcast that is housed on the Big Media USA Platform and pushed
out to all the other major online partner platforms.
Why is t he Podcast int erview im port ant ?
You are the best one to tell your story, how you got into the business in your words and therefore
show your passion and knowledge. People can make a decision that they want to work with you
because of important factors like these, your sincerity, approachability, compassion and desire to
provide a great product or service.

Why do I need t o be ?In t he New s??
he 3rd Pillar. Remember the potential client/customer is
looking at you side by side with your competitor and
trying to decide whom to choose.
adcast Com pany
Look at how impressive all the professionally produced
media is to your client/customer in a well thought out
and prepared format you have the answer to:
Why Do I Need It ?
Bonus: by producing quality content you help your SEO
and this makes you easier to be found!
Also, you can use these logos and more in your signature
line and on your website.
Big Media USA and its Management Team members have
great business experience and industry diversity to help
you reach your business goals. After producing over
17,000 podcasts. I am going to borrow a great line from
Farmers Insurance because it applies to Big Media USA.
?We know a thing or two, because we?ve seen a thing or two?
We have a process to ?drill down? on a business in order
to uncover their goals and develop powerful podcasts to
reach those goals. Podcasts can be used to accomplish a
variety of things.
Generating sales is always the first thing that comes to
people minds, but here are other things that podcasts
can accomplish. Build a brand or reputation, building an
event, training a sales force or customers, compressing
the sales cycle, introducing staff to potential clients,
education, testimonials, building relationships and
generating qualified leads are some examples.
In our intake process we help a client realize the things
that will impact their business the most and craft a
message that they are excited about projecting.
What 's Your Wellness IQ?

Emotional Maturity and Wellness
I have consistently over the years enjoyed a high level of physical wellness. I wish I
could say the same about my emotional wellness.
Our bodies grow and mature with age, intellectually we are highly stimulated,
spiritually we are all on some path of growth and understanding. However
emotionally most of us operate from an immature place called childhood.
What do I mean by that? Think back to how old you were when you realized the
world was no longer a perfect place. Maybe three, six, ten could be your number
mine was 6. When we experience an early childhood trauma that is actually when
we stop developing emotionally until we take the steps to heal. So here is the test
to prove what I am talking about. The key here is to have my emotional maturity
catch up with the rest of me.
What do little kids do when they get angry and do not get their own way or they ar
upset over something?
I. Yell
II. Cry
III.Stomp their feet
IV.Temper Tantrum
V. Throw things
VI.Break things
VII. Say mean things
VIII. Punch, slap, bite
IX.Slam doors
X. Threaten to run away

Now the key here is to check off any of these behaviors you have exhibited as grown
adult.
I rest my case.
We have all been hurt as children. There are many ways that can happen. Loss of
loved one early in life, all of the abuses, verbal, physical, sexual, emotional, neglect,
and the list goes on. Many of us never have an opportunity to heal from any of it
until later in life when things start falling apart like a three-dollar watch. That little
person inside, that hurt little boy or girl comes out fighting every time on our behalf.
So, let?s say boy meets girl, or girl meets girl, or boy meets boy and they are
expecting to have an intimate relationship, the most emotionally charged
relationship on the planet. One partner is six emotionally, and the other is nine.
What does a six-year-old or a nine-year-old know about having a relationship,
building a home, and even family? Does this in some way help to explain our family
dynamics of the 21st century?
Many of us carry that victim feeling and behaviors into our adult world. When we
have had traumatic events, we are impacted on many levels particularly
emotionally. It is not the incident itself that holds us back, it is the intense emotions
attached to it that we carry. To sooth the soul then becomes our mode of operation.
Addictions, overachieving, perfectionism, mental illness, and control are just a few of
the manifestations of a person who is not emotionally well and this all leads to a
lack of self-love and self-worth. We cannot reclaim it by constantly going outside of
our self. A new relationship, a renovated kitchen, a new vehicle, a new career will
never satisfy the healing that needs to be done. It is an inside job so lets roll up our
sleeves and do the personal work so we can move forward and approach all of our
situations from an emotionally mature stance.
MY DRIVE
Believe it or not, I?m more scared of publishing my book, than I am of going down a bobsleigh
track. It has been one of the hardest things I?ve ever done, other than my master?s thesis! This
book was created at a time when my world appeared shattered and visionless. I took that
opportunity to place fear and a challenge in my path...to write this book. Believing takes practice,
as fitness and health takes daily commitment. All I kept saying was, ?Suck it up princess, you?re
doing this!? The moment I stopped thinking it was all about me, the book flowed and came out
effortlessly. Well, sort of. When you?re purpose driven by a cause beyond yourself, that is the
sweet spot of life! That is +where magic happens and your heart sings.
Usually something has to be happening in life that disturbs the foundation to trigger change. In
my life, I have thrived on transformation and for every trigger, there is a creative response that is
ignited within me. I was never afraid of a challenge or shift in my being or environment. I was
more concerned with missing an opportunity. The journeys I have had in life have taught me
essential lessons, some subtle and others profound. My claim to fame, per se, was being a
pioneer in women?s bobsleigh and the first pilot for Canada at the Olympic Winter Games in Salt
Lake City in 2002.IMAGE (SLC SLIDING PUSHSTART) What I thought was a dream come true left me
with many mental and physiological challenges. It wasn?t until 12 years post retirement, that I
discovered that I was suffering from the long-term effects of brain injury. This connected

the dots and helped explain a root source of my struggles. Despite it all, I never gave up.
In sharing my stories, I?ve been as authentic as I can by revealing my real-life lessons in a direct
and unique fashion. I?ve purposefully never studied the great sages of our time in order to not
lose my individuality, personal reflections or style of expression. I believe there is no new
information, however, everyone?s journeys, discoveries, ways of sharing and interpreting are
unique. One?s message and approach may resonate with some, versus others. I have always
wanted to live my life reflecting upon my own experiences, reaching into my soul, coming to my
own realizations, having my own discoveries from the grassroots, and coming up with solutions
that are authentic to me. Not experiencing the effort involved with hard and deep self-reflection
would be like skipping out on life. Like cheating on an exam and avoiding the work. I want to be
a player in the game, not one watching it on TV. Learning is by doing and experiencing things
myself. This is my life. I am in the lead role.
I was stuck for so many years in self-made paradigms. My framework consisted of stories going
on in my head that were self-manifested. Some were made up of what I thought I was
struggling with, what I thought people thought, what I thought I should be, what I thought I had
or had not become based on expectations of myself and others. I experienced seemingly daily
struggles, fears and an inability to hold my focus to fulfill life projects and aspirations. I found
myself distancing socially and from what had been routine in my life. I was craving to reconnect
with myself, a purpose and a productive mindset and environment. I was so far down the rabbit
hole that I felt at times hopeless

and stuck, like Alice in Wonderland. It was my version of ?Sonder-land?with the perception that
what I was going through wasn?t anything different from others going through transition,
searching for a new purpose and tackling challenges. I never wanted to be seen as a victim. I
kept up the smoke and mirrors while continuing to struggle with getting my poop in a group. It
took a lot of self-talk to never give up on myself. However, I didn?t realize at the time, I had more
than my will to overcome. My brain injury diagnosis justified many of my hurdles, gave me hope
to find solutions and brought me back to reapplying routine steps that were key to my success
when I was training as an Olympian.
The way I have led my life, I do not claim to be correct, or for everyone. Nor have I proclaimed to
be an authority at anything, however, sharing and being vulnerable has developed into my
expertise! IMAGE (SPEAKING ON STAGE) The moment we think we know it all, we stop being
open to learning and growth. My goal is not to wow you, but to make you think. To shed light on
solutions to possible struggles and hidden causes. To encourage you to let down your guard, to
do what you want to do, not to worry about other?s perceptions,, to give yourself permission to
be real and live your life to the beat of your own symphony. Many of us conform to societal
rules and do what we think others want or expect from us. When I was overseas pursuing my
master?s degree in both Russia and Greece, I learned a saying, ?If you worry about what people
think, you?re living their life, not yours.?IMAGE: GRADUATE PICTUREThis is your life to live! Have
no regrets! I challenge you to live it to your fullest

expression and squeeze every ounce of happiness out of it. Embrace the turbulent ride or the
smooth patches on the journey.
These pages are my reflections and lessons that I am passing on to you. May they open your
mind, give hope, stimulate your creativity and nudge you further down a path to a new state
of being. Once you embark, you?ll never be the same. May my life journey enlighten you to
reach for your unique solar system. Seek daily discomfort like a game. When you think you
have mastered the rhythm in what you do, change the music. If something becomes easy,
look to make it challenging. Make routine exciting and take a detour. Make small gains and
pace yourself over time. Explore all emotions on the human spectrum without fear. The more
you stretch your heart and human system, the stronger and more resilient it becomes. After
reading this, may you leave empowered and grab life by its soul and run with it! May you fail
in one thing ? Giving Up!
Whatever brought you here means you?re ready! If not, step away from the book because
from here on its pages are unsafe, as they are addictive! If you?re prepared to take a ride
through life changing turns, remember, no braking until the end!
When I am faced with a big project, I have come to say, ?How do you eat a purple elephant? ?
One bite at a time!?
Here is my elephant.
Bon appétit!
With Love,
