Get Up and Go

This is a free, eight to ten week training

program designed for beginner walkers to

advanced runners.

Held once a week at the Nevada Union High

School track on Ridge Road, it’s a safe way to

find your comfort level. There are four levels,

each with their own coach: walkers, walk/

runners, runners and trail runners.

Sponsored by Trkac Running Store, Sierra

TrailBlazers and Gilligan’s Hillagains, this

annual program is held in the evening.

Race Training

For serious runners, there is a 5K, 10K,

Half and Trail Half Marathon program for

specific races. Sponsored by Trkac Running

Store, sessions are held three times a year

and include track work and long runs.

DISTRICT: Programs include adult men’s

basketball and adult softball, as well as a

adult activities and classes are available,

including personal training, Tai Chi, deep

water aerobics, belly dancing, acting

and fencing. You can also join pickleball,
