Recycled Asphalt Treatments
According to the National Asphalt Pavement Association, asphalt is the most recycled
material in the U.S. Approximately 18 billion tons of asphalt pavement in American
roads can be reused as part of recycled asphalt treatments, which require less energy
and give off fewer emissions.

ASPHALT
Ergon offers a variety of asphalt
for
your paving needs.
Ergon Asphalt & Emulsions, incorporated in 1982, has grown to become one
of the largest asphalt marketers in North America. We manufacture and market
liquid asphalt pavements and a wide variety of advanced asphalt products.
Our polymer modified asphalt has a longer shelf life than other products and
is used on expressways, urban roads, airport tarmacs and other high-traffic
areas, including popular NASCAR ® racetracks.
In addition to a variety of asphalt paving products, Ergon offers emulsions
for recycled asphalt treatments such as hot in-place recycling, cold in-place
recycling, cold central plant recycling and full depth reclamation.
Hot-Applied Bond Coat
Ergon also offers a hot-applied trackless bond coat that can be applied at the
highest shot rates required, increasing bond strength while decreasing the
need for cleanup. eTac HB is part of the e-Series family of products.

ENHANCED DURABILITY
FOR HARSH ELEMENTS.
eFlex is a premium micro surfacing emulsion developed
to provide exceptional resistance to damage in the period
after application, as well as long-term damage caused by
harsh weather and utility service vehicles, including snowplows.
Due to increased polymer modification of the base
asphalt, eFlex provides greater durability over conventional
micro surfacing.

WITHSTANDS HEAVY TRAFFIC
eFlex premium micro surfacing can be applied using
Type II and III aggregate, making it suitable for use on
heavier-trafficked areas.
EASY TO USE
While eFlex provides premium performance, it follows
conventional design parameters and can be applied
using conventional micro surfacing equipment.
LONG-TERM BENEFITS
Not only does eFlex reduce scuffing and tearing that
can be caused early on by high temperatures and utility
vehicles, but it also provides long-term protection from
harsh weather, oxidation and snowplows.
For additional safety, eFlex provides a high-friction
surface that remains high throughout the service
life of the application.

eFlex ES is a premium slurry seal with a unique design
process for enhanced performance on residential streets,
cul-de-sacs, city arterials and collectors. Its high level of
polymer modification provides improved durability over
conventional and modified slurry seals.

DESIGNED FOR RESIDENTIAL APPLICATION
eFlex ES can be applied using Type I, II and III aggregate
and has a quick set time, making it ideal for residential
applications.
INCREASED RESISTANCE
A high level of polymer modification in our premium
slurry seal provides increased resistance to damage
caused by UV exposure and scuffing that can occur
early after application of other slurry seal treatments.
LASTING RESULTS
eFlex ES is designed to help roads withstand oxidation

eFog is an innovative, rejuvenating fog seal that can be used to prevent
pavement distress and restore essential elements in the existing asphalt.
By using eFog early in the road preservation cycle, you can extend the
life of a road and delay the need for more in-depth service.

MULTI-USE
Unlike the average fog seal, eFog contains rejuvenators
and can be used as a bond coat or a cold pour crack filler,
depending on the needs of the project.
INCREASES DURABILITY
The polymer modified asphalt base provides a dense film
thickness for increased durability and resistance to tracking.

Ergon’s new eFog HP is a trackless fog seal that locks down
aggregate on newly chip sealed surfaces, prevents raveling
and delays aging on dense-graded hot mix. It also provides
a quick return to traffic and increases durability.

eScrub is a hybrid emulsion containing a rejuvenating agent
that increases pavement quality and durability. Now, severe
road distresses that previously required expensive mill and
fill treatments can be corrected for less than half the cost.
