Performances & other performance
opportunities
Open House Concerts consist of formal Platform Performances and informal
performances that students have requested on their first instrument. Student
Recitals offer the opportunity for 1st study students to present a longer
recital than is possible in Open House Concerts. Students learning a second
study at Junior Guildhall may request to perform in the Second Study
Concerts. Students receiving a scholarship from Junior Guildhall may be
invited by the Senior Management Team to perform in the Scholars’ Concert
at Charlton House on 22 January 2021.
Open House Concerts in Autumn 2020 will be online only, with priority
given to Platform Performances.

There are informal concerts held most Saturdays during term time in
the John Hosier Practice Annexe for members of the String Training
Programme (between 11.00 and 11.30am) and Brass Training Programme
(between 15.00 and 15.30am). There will be special online provision for
performances in Autumn 2020.
