upgrades<br />
FortisBC crews are relocating an overhead<br />
electricity line along Columbia Avenue to<br />
support efforts to improve the highway system<br />
in <strong>Castlegar</strong>.<br />
Next spring, we’re joining efforts with the<br />
Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure<br />
to upgrade Columbia Avenue/Highway<br />
22 from 24th Street to 18th street, renewing<br />
underground water and storm utilities &<br />
improving transportation for pedestrians,<br />
bikes, and drivers.<br />
This fall, we’ll be sharing detailed project<br />
info and hosting in-person (following<br />
COVID-19 regulations) and online sessions<br />
so you can meet the project team and ask<br />
questions.<br />
