Dear Nomads,
Another beautiful day at State Mines.
It is always a pleasure spending the day at State Mines Golf Club, the golf course is
always in an immaculate condition and the team always ensures that we feel right at
home.
A massive thank you to Pieter Heine and his team, they presented us with a very handy
ball marker at registration and included halfway in our playing fee.
I would also like to thank my fourball for the day, P. Heine (Captain) P. Grobler
(Chairman) and N. Minnaar (Secretary), an absolute gem of a day with great company!
To our sponsor of the day Francis Themane and his company, Highveld Filters, who focus
on air, oil, fuel, water, hydraulic, process and industrial filtration, no words can describe
our appreciation for your support and partnership with the Easterns Nomads.
Our sponsorship team will be sending out the new sponsorship options, I think they
have put together a value proposition for any business, that would like to get involved
with the Easterns Nomads.
To all the Nomads, I urge you to get to know what our fellow Nomads do and support
them in any way we can.
During a year of many firsts, we had our first prize giving with members in their playing
kits, ensuring that we adhered to all the Covid - 19 regulations I believe it was a huge
success with everyone present appreciating the opportunity to catch up with friends.
Our next game will be at Germiston on Sat afternoon 3, October 2020, see you all there.

Spring has Sprung!

A very special thank you to State Mines for being so helpful
and professional, and including our halfway meal in the
price of the game! I know that it surprised a lot of guys,
and they were very impressed by it! THANK YOU!
The game ran smoothly, and all the 4 ball captains got the
WhatsApp photos sent to me timeously! Thank you,
guys! I was able to get the results out within 10 min of the
last score cards!
Our next game will be at Germiston on Saturday,
3 October! Hopefully I will be able to see you all again!
