tell stories through imagery, capturing the moments
that no one else sees. Some would call my style
alternative, which if you prefer a style that is relaxed,
natural and timeless without forced posing then yes, it

Lizzie & Luke
bridesmaids
Lizzie & Luke met at a nightclub in
Northampton in 2010 - fast forward 7
years, a proposal and a wedding to plan
for 2019. They found their perfect venue
in Kilworth House and were blown away
by the Staircase, Orangery, Chandeliers
and Country Chic of the hotel. Being low
season we managed to secure a great
deal. It was also 20 minutes drive from
home which was a bonus. The theme was
natural using greens, copper and peachy
tones. This was the inspiration from an
artist friend whose work was used for the
wedding stationery. The Bridal gown was
a soft strapless floaty dress by Enzoani
from 'Brides of Ashby'.
Lizzie & Luke - Kilworth House
The bridal bouquet included David Austin roses and succulents with
beautiful grey -green eucalyptus. Table centres using these colours all
supplied by Ck Flowers. We used succulent plants as favours. The
Highlights of the day was using different areas of the hotel for dining,
dancing and watching a Leicester City match! We also did a DIY
Photobooth for our guests in the Cellar Bar, and had a Macaron tower
(Maison des Macarons) DJ was Jackstar Weddings, Make up artist
Sarah Capell. We honeymooned in Mexico, which was fabulous.

Central
Railway in Loughborough. Our theme was a vintage-inspired wedding day,
taking this inspiration from the many steam trains and the Hollywood
movies that have been filmed at this location.
It is a fabulous and unique space to host your wedding or celebration.
After you have "done the legal bit" you can have a dining experience on the
train as you travel through the Leicestershire countryside. Afterwards, the
train will drop you and your guests at Quorn to party the night away in their
Marquee. The steam train comes complete with a Verandah and Cocktail
bar.

Railway... We had the station, steam trains and use of
all the vintage signage at our disposal.
Creating the vintage look for our model Sophie we

When we meet with a wedding couple, we take them to our consultation room above
the shop where they can relax with a coffee and look through our portfolios and hired
items we have on display.
We then put together a quotation listing each item individually and describe how it
would look and what flowers we would use. Following on in the planning process, we
have a 'catch up' with the couple, check quantities, times and logistics for their big day.
On the day, we arrive with an abundance of flowers and arrangements, set everything
up into place creating a romantic atmosphere for the couple to enjoy their day.

Weddings
Real
Michael and Stephanie met "whilst she was working as a
waitress in a cocktail bar" - actually it was her parent's pub.
It was love at first sight.
They got together took over the pub and fast forward 2 babies
and 8 years together with a wedding to plan. Their venue -
Manor Farm Barn Leicestershire, a DIY venue. It was very rustic
and exactly what they wanted for their big day. We had a huge
hog roast, BBQ and an Ice cream cart. We did all the finishing
touches ourselves from making our seating plan out of guests
funny face photos, an alternative guest book where guests had
to fill in marital advice... and top tips for marriage. Every year
we recreate the best day of our lives by photographing
ourselves in our wedding attire, he buys me a replica of my
wedding bouquet every year. He makes it so special...he is a
keeper.
We also had on the tables instead of wedding favours we had
little cards with a message with a lucky sixpence and inside was
a scratch card.

Add CAKE! Everybody lurrves a bit of cake – or
at least I do! As a kid, I was much more of an
eater than a baker. This all changed in my 20’s
when cooking & baking became a love. I’ve been
The Lady Who Bakes now for the past 4 years.
I began with celebration cakes, and have since
branched out into wedding cakes. There are so
many ways to bring cakey love to a wedding,
from a huge 4-tiered iced cake, to a single-tiered
naked cake. I also make smaller bakes and have
recently begun an Afternoon Tea service. For a
minimum of 6 guests, this includes all the
delicious edible goodies you could need with
locally roasted coffee and tea plus the beautiful
china on which it is served. Perfect for all sorts
of celebrations including hen parties, baby
