Welcome to our “Spreading Smiles Across the Miles” virtual fundraising event!
Usually, I would be addressing you from behind a podium on a Wednesday evening during our Annual Cocktail
Party. But, like so much else in 2020, this year’s fundraising campaign is much different. Still, I hope you find your
experience engaging, and I hope you are moved to support HealthLink Dental Clinic’s work.
Our work – providing free dental care to disadvantaged, working adults and veterans – continues.
Despite having to close our doors for three months…
Despite having to develop new policies and procedures to keep our patients, volunteers, and staff safe…
Despite a number of unbudgeted expenses to procure PPE and new equipment…
Our work continues because supporters like you have confidence in our organization and an unrelenting
willingness to give a helping hand to your neighbors in need.

Our goal is to raise $30,000 to directly support our free dental clinic. We have been encouraged by the generosity
of our event sponsors and donors already, but we need your help to cross the finish line.
In an already difficult year, we expect the need for our no-cost oral health services to grow. I hope you will
continue your support of our mission and help us end 2020 stronger and more resilient than ever before.

I want to thank everyone for supporting tonight’s Spreading Smiles Across the Miles, HealthLink’s virtual version of
our annual Anniversary Cocktail Gala. This year, even more than others in the past, your support is essential. The
two driving factors that allow us to treat our patients, who are veterans and low-income wage earners, are
financial resources and volunteer support. We cannot do without either.
I am proud of how we have been able to adapt the protocols and procedures of our clinic to protect our patients,
staff, and volunteers from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic while continuing the important work of our
organization.
I want to thank our staff and volunteer host committee that took the challenge and created this unique virtual
fundraising event. On behalf of the HealthLink Board of Directors, I pay tribute to our award winners: Daniel &
Eleanora Cheney, Dr. Arnold Pfannenstiel, and the Montgomery Bucks Dental Society.

HealthLink Dental Clinic welcomes
Autumn Marisa as host for tonight’s
virtual celebration, “Spreading Smiles
Across the Miles.” A former Miss
Pennsylvania and Philadelphia TV
personality, Autumn has extensive
experience in Philadelphia
broadcasting.
She has been an on-air traffic reporter
and producer for WPVI-TV 6abc and
Tango Traffic. She was a reporter for
Better Philly’s Street Talkin’ segment
on Myphl17. Currently Autumn can be seen on QVC as an on-air guest for AnyBody
Loungewear/Athleisure.
Autumn is a community minded volunteer and is excited and honored to join us tonight to
represent HealthLink, and help us raise funding to continue our work that gives hope and
assistance to so many in our community.
Residing with her family in Malvern, Autumn enjoys cooking, traveling, fitness,
volunteering, and as much family time as possible.

Daniel and Eleanora Cheney
The true definition of humanitarians,
Daniel and Elenora Cheney spent much
of their lives together giving back to
their community. Through their private
foundation, The Danellie Foundation,
Mr. and Mrs. Cheney awarded more than
$35 million to deserving organizations.
Dear friends of HealthLink founder,
Eugene Jackson and his wife Mary Lou,
the Cheneys began supporting the
organization from its establishment.
Over nearly 20 years, Daniel and Eleanora have donated more than $610,000
to HealthLink. Sadly, Daniel passed away in 2016, but Elenora and her family
members continue their philanthropic work to this day.
The generosity of the Cheneys has been truly transformational for
HealthLink, and for that we are eternally grateful.

Montgomery Bucks
Dental Society
Since the first visit by HealthLink's former
Executive Director, Sister Lois, to announce the
opening of a free clinic in Southampton, the
Montgomery Bucks Dental Society (MBDS) has
been a treasured partner of the organization.
Not only has MBDS financially supported
HealthLink, but over the years countless members
have volunteered their professional services in the
clinic, the society has helped publicize and create
awareness around various HealthLink initiatives
and projects, and has co-sponsored continuing
education courses with the organization.
Without the multi-faceted support and true partnership of MBDS, HealthLink
would not have been able to provide services to the vast number of community
members that is has over the last 19 years.

Arnold Pfannenstiel, DDS
Volunteering his time in the clinic since
the doors opened nearly 20 years ago,
Arnold Pfannenstiel, DDS has become a
familiar and friendly face to countless
HealthLink patients, as well as staff
members and other volunteers.
Dr. Pfannenstiel has donated thousands
of hours providing free dental care to
military veterans and low-income
earning adults who live in either Bucks or
Montgomery County, leadership to the
organization as a member of the Board of Directors, and guidance as the
clinic’s volunteer Dental Director.
In addition to his volunteer work at HealthLink, Dr. Pfannenstiel has been
providing quality dentistry in the Bucks County area for the last 30 years and
has volunteered with other dental organizations that ensure that patients
receive the dental treatments they desperately need but cannot afford.
