NEW TO CHURCH?
We here at Beaconsfield Baptist are
a group of ordinary people.
We come from all sorts of different
backgrounds. But what we have in
common is a love of Jesus.
Week by week we meet to enjoy
worship together and to be part of a
church family that is warm, caring
and accepting. We would love to
have you join us.
Email the office at

MAKE BEACY HOME
We run a number of ministries
designed to help people from all
walks of life grow in faith and
connect with one another.
If you’re interested in making Beacy
your home, and serving in the life of
our church, there are a number of
ways in which to do so.
Please get in touch with a
member of our Leadership Team to
discuss opportunities to serve and
get more involved.

Pastor
Where are you looking?
With the world in upheaval, with
plans wiped out and with our
hearts confused.
Where are you looking?
It’s easy to catch yourself looking
inwards, focused on ourselves;
dwelling in our own thoughts and
fears.
It’s easy to catch yourself looking
around to others for support or to
compare.
In those moments we need to stop
and look deeper. Beyond our
circumstance there is something
bigger, grander, greater going on.
This is one of those moments to lift
our gaze from our immediate
surroundings and focus on the
throne room of God.
Worship is for every season,
especially ones such as these.
Over the course of October, I pray
that we look a little deeper and see
the King on his throne; see the one
who gave his life for us and learn
to live again.
Come and worship; breathe in his
blessing and breathe out his
praise.

How does a heavenly throne
change our earthly lives?
The book of Revelation takes
us into the throne room of
Heaven and we see Jesus
revealed as the Lion and the
Lamb. He is the king and the
saviour; the conqueror and
the sacrifice. We find our
purpose, we understand our
suffering and we live this life
because of him.
