Unikat unique 

Diese Skulptur wurde nach einem Entwurf von Hans Arp aus dem Jahre 1961 als Unikat durch die 

Witwe 1980 ausgeführt. Dieses Unikat ist in der Arp-Stiftung unter Nr. 253a verzeichnet. Des weiteren 

wurde eine Auflage von 5 Exemplaren mit 96,5 cm Höhe realisiert, siehe Werkverzeichnis-Nr. 253. 

The present sculpture was conceived by Hans Arp in 1961 and executed in 1980 by the widow of the 

artist. It is a unique piece and is registered at the Arp-Foundation as no. 253a. In addition, a smaller version 

which is 38 in. in height, was executed as an edition of 5, see catalogue raisonné no. 253.
