CLASSIC
DOOR HANDLE
Mold over 100 years, produced usign the sand casting tecnique. All molds
are touched up using the art of chiseling, always with a high standard of
rigor and quality as if it were a jewel. This door handle is inserted in a
classic style, through the beautiful pattern that is in the plate in addition
to the form and classic lines we see in the set.

Founded in Lisbon, in 1905, the brand Achilles Since 1905 is specialized
in the production and design of exquisite metal pieces, designed to
complement several details in an interior space.
In Achilles Since 1905 you may find the perfect finish for custom made
furniture, as tables, chair, in adittion to door handles, hardware and
special projects, always with a huge rigor and quality as if it were a jewel,
with lifetime warranty. With over 100 years of history, this brand has an
impressive collection of molds, around 50.000, most of them are from
handles with over 500 years of history.
All pieces are chiseled by hand, giving them a unique value and highquality
details.
Our showroom/museum is located in Principe Real, right in the center of
Lisbon, where you can take a trip back to the past and visit our original
foundry that has been preserve as they were 100 years ago.
You may visit in our showroom some our best works of last century
and talk with one of our consultants and request advice for concept or
development of your project, from the idea until the final end. Today all
products is made in northern Portugal, more specifically in Porto.
At Achilles 1905, we create memorable experiences where each customer

Mandevilla is a genus of tropical and subtropical
flowering vines that are native to the Southwestern
United States, Mexico, Central America, the West
Indies, and South America. They develop spectacular,

The long Bech wood frame works as loom and this
piece is directly handwoven with wool on its frame
creating an abstract and colorful composition.

The organic series is inspired on the molecular system which is represented by the
handmade wool ropes that cover all the faces of the cube. This white organic cube

THE BRAND
Through the fusion of craftsmanship and design, a singular and inspiring
vision emerges. In each piece the hand of the artist is always present,
and one is drawn into a subtle mastery, and clear depth of purpose.

Taking humble and ordinary woollen yarn, the threads are interlaced
into different forms and vibrant webs of colour, creating new and
extraordinarily unique objects.
In his work João Bruno Videira draws on a geometry that lifts the spirit
and intensifies all the senses.
THE DESIGNER
João Bruno Videira is a self-taught artisan and furniture designer since
2006, when he created his first own brand: “água de prata”, with which
he reinvented the use of a traditional and excellency raw-material in
Portugal: the wool.
He represented Portugal in several International design faria and
exhibitions suco as at the Palermo Design Week in 2010, the London
Design Fair in 2017 and 2019 and the Dutch Design Week in 2019.
João Bruno used to work as a TV journalist and as an independent
video producer as well, till he found in art and design his new way of
expression.

The “Magnus” island was designed
for the most aesthetic and functional
markets in the world. Its size
and functional deployment to use
it as a bar or/and a kitchen, allow
it to assume a prominent place in
harmonious living spaces, where it
is intended to receive guests with
refinement and discretion. Since
the drawer mechanism turns it into
a refined but yet discreet piece of
furniture, besides the possibility of
being used as a Range Kitchen, it
can also be very useful in luxury
hotels and palaces for exquisite
receptions. This model is equipped
with a Miele H 7890 BP oven, a
Miele KM 7684 FL induction hob,
a Rody Invisible 40 R sink and
a Klarstein Amazonia 6 Secret
dishwasher. The island “Magnus”
was entirely made in lacquered
metal with elements of brushed
stainless steel and polished brass.
It is equipped with Led Strp 24V
3000K backlight and can operate
with voltages of 220 or 110 volts.
Its dimensions in the undeployed
mode are 327x140x110cm.

JSC Technology is a brand from a group which is composed by two
enterprises: The IDFL lda., created in 1984, fabricates and commercializes
wood, gas and electric range cookers since the beginning of its activity; and
the Confort d’Europe SARL., created in 2015, commercializes worldwide
the IDLF lda. devices with the specifications for each country or region.
By being specialists in the creation of Range cookers, we fabricate all of
its elements, including the extractor hoods. The raw material from our
creations is all kind of metals which are carefully worked with polished,
lacquered or enameled finishings. One of the technical capacities that we
value is to join, in the same structural element, two different metals. For
example, stainless steel with brass or with enameled or lacquered iron.
Nowadays, we are also working in the new project called “Metal Drawers”,
which extends our offer to the rest of the kitchen furniture. Because our
proposal is an alternative to the most traditional Kitchens furniture, we
are proud to present this new aesthetically and functional definition of
the kitchen as a space of life, because we think that its importance will
influence the market trend in the next years.

La Joie Mirror
Since ever, the notion of joy in life inspired
all the philosophers, artists, and other
thinkers. One of the most provocative Surrealists
of his time, Paul Delvaux creates a
spirit in his painting that in not particularly
joyful. Inspired by the evocation a more
psychological reflection on couple life’s joys
of the painting, where hands touch, Malabar
designers conceived this art looker. To be
attached vertically to the walls, the oval La
Joie mirror creates a play of reflections and
light, handmade in polished brass and aged
bronze mirror- This aesthetical mirror design
hits the headlines as fashionable must-have
when it comes to contemporary interiors and
ornamental role.
Horizon Discovery Center Table
Malabar designers conceived the Horizon Discovery Center Table to honour the
discovery times and to pay a tribute to the Portuguese maritime navigators that
discovered unknown lands during Portugal’s glorious times. Inspired by the divine
vision of a new land sighted from distant seas, this art-filled center table was designed
with the organic contours of coastline in mind. Featuring a wooden structure,
the Horizon Discovery is wrapped in solid brass, rigorously hand hammered by
the Malabar’s goldsmiths and painstakingly soldered as if it were a true piece of
jewelry. Using the ancient embossing techniques, Repoussé and Chasing, Malabar’s
Goldsmith artisans have manually crafted reliefs of ‘the portuguese Caravels’ on its
wavy brass form. The handcrafted Horizon Discovery´s production combines also
brass polishing and the aging process, conferring uniqueness to this limited edition
of Horizon. This artistic-flavored center table will give personality and a sense of
adventure to any living room décor.

timeless originality and imperial design were inspired by the of Ajuda, a neoclassical
monument in the civil parish of Ajuda, in Lisbon. This piece’s top is made of wood
finished with high gloss black varnish surrounded by a subtle line of gold leaf coated
elements. The structure is supported by two shapely designed geometric feet in
lacquered wood and gold leaf coated semi-spheres. This makes Cortez Modern
Dining Table ideal for spacious contemporary rooms.

TECHNOLOGY:
Multielástic ® continuous spring: block of spiral double continuous innersprings that
guarantee exceptional body contouring of the mattress. Heat treated during the
manufacturing process to maximise durability. Multielástic ® is a self-adaptive boxspring
that modifies its firmness according to the pressure it receives
Micro-pocketed springs. Its 5 cm frame of micro-pocketed springs in the

Porcelain factory completely smooth and
glazed, the articles then enter the Atlantis
Factory to be submitted to highly skilled
sculpture work during which each
groove is cut manually by master crystal
