Women's Prayer and Study Group

into a saint is through a relationship with our Blessed

The Revelation of the Father helps men to develop two leadership
traits: Lay a Foundation for the Future and Be Willing to

No Charge, 13 week program has two sessions to choose
from: Thursday mornings starting September 13th at
6:15am with breakfast (freewill donation) and fellowship,

Twenty-First Sunday in Ordinary Time

Sept. 19th for children in grades 1 – 8.

Catholic Mass at Ridgewood-Volunteers Needed
Volunteers to assist at Ridgewood Care Center during the

St. Lucy Altar Society Meeting
The first meeting of the 2012 -2013 St. Lucy's Altar Society
will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 in the large
meeting room off the Narthex of the Church at 1:00 P.M.
There is pretty much to be discussed at this meeting, so please
come and help the Altar Society make some necessary decisions.
Also, plans for the Fall Bakery and Craft Sale in November
will be discussed.
Hope to see many women of the parish at this meeting.

Kneelers
Earlier this summer we talked about being able to reupholster
our kneelers this fall if Festival exceeded its profit
goal. I am pleased to announce that work on the kneelers
will begin within a week or so. The work will be performed
in phases over a several week period. We have been able
to get a close match on the fabric and we are actually going
with a heavier duty pad than what is currently in the kneelers.
Your ongoing and tremendous support of the festival allow
us to maintain and improve our facilities. We truly have a
great group of families in both the School and the Parish.
We will announce the final Festival results the weekend of
September 8th and 9th.

Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe
Visits Kenosha Sept. 8th - 17th
The Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe will be hosted
by St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 4816 7th Avenue Kenosha
(near the Simmons Island Harbor). She will arrive in Kenosha
for her birthday, Sept. 8, and remain until Sept 17. People can
also visit her at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 5400 19th Ave.,
Kenosha, Sept. 13 - 16, 2012. The Missionary image is a digital
copy of the Tilma, commissioned by the Basilica of Mexico.
Blessed John Paul II dedicated Our Lady of Guadalupe to the
Americas in 1999.
Special events are planned during her short visit here, and
you’re invited! You don’t need a passport or to travel to Mexico
to see her. Please come celebrate the many feasts during her
stay in Kenosha.
