Who Are ACS Cost Consultants?
Borne out of large international consultancy organisations, Aspect
Commercial Services has been in Dubai for nearly 5 years and has
built a strong reputation as a reliable and professional cost, value and
claims consultant and quantity surveying practice.
As a result of recent international developments and a revised and
significantly stronger business strategy we now have a new company
structure and have rebranded to ACS.
Having combined the team with that of an internationally known cost
consultant last year we are a fully independent operation and have
broadened our scope with the aim of being the “go-to” cost
consultant and QS for the discerning client who wants to achieve
best value from their investment.

The key personnel at ACS have been involved in a variety of aviation
projects including engine overhaul facilities, hangars, terminal
buildings, infrastructure, simulator buildings, airline lounges, offices
and sale shops.
ACS is aware of the fundamental parameters of airport design in
terms of throughput and associated cost and this together with our
operational knowledge adds substantial value to both the technical
design and cost management. This is especially important during the
conceptual design stages when not all of the components of the
project will have been fully designed or specifically identified.

Furthermore, our involvement in term maintenance contracts gives
us a clearer understanding of the technical requirements in airport
development and this in turn enables us to undertake very accurate
early estimates and cost plans.
Today’s airports are not just transport hubs but comprise a multitude
of revenue earning centres and our experience in other sectors such
as retail, F&B and even hospitality brings further benefits. Whilst we
always aim to reduce costs through stringent value management
throughout the design process, the introduction of additional revenue
spaces both in terms of the facilities and their juxtapositions will
often far outweigh any additional capital cost. This is VM in its purest
form.
