Western Canadian National Show<br />
November 9-11, 2012<br />
GENERAL SHOW RULES & REGULATIONS:<br />
1. Exhibitors will not be allowed to remove<br />
their exhibits before designated times,<br />
unless with special permission. All birds<br />
must be signed for before taken from building.<br />
2. <strong>The</strong> card of the <strong>Association</strong> will be placed<br />
upon each coop, giving the entry number of<br />
Exhibitor and name of specimen. This will be<br />
a CLOSED CARD show.<br />
3. <strong>The</strong> Show Committee and their assistants<br />
will be allowed in the Judging Area while<br />
judging is in progress; this area will be under<br />
the control of the Show Committee at all<br />
times.<br />
4. <strong>The</strong> <strong>Association</strong> reserves the right to put<br />
more than one specimen in a coop, providing<br />
the birds belong to the same Exhibitor.<br />
In no case will two males be cooped together.<br />
5. No prize award cards or ribbons will be allowed<br />
to be attached to any coop except<br />
the show cards awarded at the present<br />
show. PLEASE NOTE: Show will not be responsible<br />
for birds or stock left after the final<br />
day.<br />
6. <strong>The</strong> <strong>Association</strong> reserves the right to limit<br />
the entries when the entries received exceeds<br />
the accommodation.<br />
7. During the Show, the Show Committee will<br />
have full charge of all exhibits and they cannot<br />
be removed from the show building<br />
without his/her written consent. Any Exhibitor<br />
removing birds from the building without<br />
written permission from the Show Committee<br />
will forfeit all prizes which may have<br />
been awarded at this show by the Exhibitor.<br />

8. No Exhibitor will be allowed to handle any<br />
but his own exhibits.<br />
9. Care will be exercised, but the <strong>Association</strong><br />
does not hold itself responsible for loss or<br />
accidents to exhibits.<br />
10. All eggs laid during the show will have fertility<br />
destroyed and become property of the<br />
<strong>Association</strong>.<br />
11. Protests must be handed to the Show Committee,<br />
in writing, accompanied by $25.00<br />
within twelve hours after awards have been<br />
posted. If, after investigation, they prove to<br />
be without foundation, the deposit will be<br />
forfeited.<br />
12. Judging: In the absence of competition in<br />
any section or, if the stock exhibited be of<br />
inferior quality, the Judge will award only<br />
such premiums as the exhibit merits. Judges<br />
are requested to adhere to this regulation.<br />
13. All birds must be provided with numbered<br />
leg bands. <strong>The</strong> number must be on entry<br />
form in space provided.<br />
14. NOTE: Any exhibit showing disease or lice/<br />
mites will not be allowed in the show building.<br />
This rule will be strictly enforced. Any<br />
animal/bird that appears sick at any time<br />
during the show will be sent home at the<br />
owners expense.<br />
15. All shipping coops and crates must have<br />
owner's name plainly written thereon as a<br />
means of identification.<br />
16. Any Exhibitor wishing to sell stock in the<br />
open classes may place a "FOR SALE" sign,<br />
5" x 7", after judging is completed, thereon.<br />
