It is important to make the ecosystem efficient
and suitable for innovation
It was pointed out that during the pandemic period
when we need R&D activities more than ever, innovative
approaches to be carried out especially in the health
sector are needed more than before at the common mind
meeting. It was pointed out that during the pandemic
process, where studies in areas such as vaccination,
diagnosis and diagnosis have become more important,
all stakeholders in the health sector must come together
and fight against COVID-19, which is interpreted as a
never-ending disaster. It was emphasized that initiatives
supporting infrastructures, especially animal experiments,
should be undertaken to support research in medicine, and
it was emphasized that interdisciplinary work should be
done in targeted products and services in order to make
the ecosystem surrounding the health sector effective and
suitable for innovation.
With the COVID-19 process, experts stated that serious
excellence centers should be developed in order to both
fund R&D projects and contribute to trained manpower
in this field, and that a serious coordination between
ministries should be established and an executive
institution especially for infectious infectious diseases.

10 goals that will make the fight against
COVID-19 successful
At the meeting, a consensus was released on the following
10 goals with the participation of sector representatives in
order to generate a main idea that could make the health
sector’s fight against COVID-19 successful.
1-The need for new collaboration models
Experts agree that instead of working on the basis of
individual centers, new cooperation models will generate
power from the union. Some experts pointed out that the
infrastructure and experiences of research centers are
concentrated in certain areas, therefore it is difficult or

Ekosistemin etkin ve inovasyona elverişli hale
getirilmesi önemli
Ortak akıl toplantısında; Ar-Ge faaliyetlerine her
zamankinden daha fazla ihtiyacımızın olduğu pandemi
döneminde, özellikle sağlık sektöründe yürütülecek
yenilikçi yaklaşımlara, eskisinden daha fazla gereksinim
duyulduğuna dikkat çekildi. Aşı, tanı ve teşhis gibi alanlarda
yapılacak çalışmaların daha da önem kazandığı pandemi
sürecinde, sağlık sektöründeki tüm paydaşların bir araya
gelerek, bitmeyen felaket olarak yorumlanan COVID-19’a
karşı birlikte mücadele etmesi gerektiğine işaret edeildi.
Tıpta araştırmaların desteklenmesi için başta hayvan
deneyleri olmak üzere altyapıları destekleyici girişimlerin
yapılması gerektiği vurgulanırken, sağlık sektörünü
çevreleyen ekosistemin etkin ve inovasyona elverişli
hale getirilmesi için hedeflenen ürün ve hizmetlerde
disiplinlerarası çalışılması gerektiği üzerinde duruldu.
COVID-19 süreciyle birlikte hem Ar-Ge projelerinin
fonlanması, hem de bu konuda yetişmiş insan gücüne
katkı sağlanması için ciddi anlamda mükemmeliyet
merkezlerinin geliştirilmesi gerektiğini belirten uzmanlar,
bununla ilgili bakanlıklar arası ciddi bir koordinasyonun
oluşturularak, özellikle bulaşıcı enfeksiyon hastalıkları ile
ilgili icracı bir kurumun olması gerektiğinin altını çizdi.
COVID-19’la mücadeleyi başarılı kılacak 10 hedef
Toplantıda, sağlık sektörünün COVID-19 ile mücadelesini
başarılı kılabilecek bir tablonun oluşabilmesi için sektör
temsilcilerinin katılımıyla aşağıdaki 10 hedef konusunda
görüş birliğine varıldı.
