A virtual Holiday concert
of inspiration and hope
December 5, 2020 at 7 pm

From Our Director
Welcome to our Keeping the Promise concert, a celebration that
represents what can happen with a little imagination, some
talented musicians, and a thoughtful, caring community. When
we realized earlier this year that our annual Keep the Promise
gala would need to change, we thought about creative ways to
bring people together safely while celebrating all we were able
to accomplish together this year despite COVID. The idea of a
concert to feed the soul and bring us all together to celebrate
the season while supporting our families quickly emerged.
This past year has brought unprecedented challenges for our
families, yet we have never been stronger. To date in 2020, we
have supported a total of 49 families with 87 children in our
Shelter, Transitional Living, and LIFE homelessness prevention
programs—more than any other year in the history of Family
Promise Metrowest. And while these families have faced
unemployment, health issues, threats of eviction, and childcare
challenges, because of the generosity of our community, they
have all had a safe place to call home.
Tonight we thank the generous musicians who donated their
time and talent to make this event possible. We also thank each
of you for joining us and for caring about the future of our
families. Enjoy this evening and have a joyful holiday season
knowing your donations tonight will make a difference in the
lives of others.
With gratitude,
