of shapes, new and beloved. A spiritual sequel to our<br />
Roadside Distractions series, this new twist features<br />
all sorts of not so furry critters you might encounter<br />
on a walk off the beaten path. Best when admired<br />
from a distance.<br />
As one the world’s largest manufacturers of premium<br />
skateboards, we clearly use a significant amount of<br />
wood in our production. In order to off-set the timber<br />
we use to construct our skateboards, our goal is to<br />
engage in forestry efforts that replace far more than<br />
we consume. To that effect, we have partnered with<br />
the National Forest Foundation (NFF) to donate to<br />
their tree-planting program. Our ongoing donations to<br />
the NFF plant at least 3 times the amount of trees we<br />
harvest annually in the making of our skateboards.<br />

The Blazer series—our hallmark cruisers—have a new<br />
prismatic look we’re calling Déja Vu this season.<br />
Blacked out like the void of space except for the prism foil<br />
based art with small color pops matching back to<br />
their wheels. On top, the griptape is intricately<br />
die-cut back to black.<br />
Operating out of his small apartment in Highland Park,<br />
Los Angeles, Sterling Bartlett is a long timeGlobe<br />
collaborator, artist, designer, bread baker<br />
and hot sauce maker. For this two-board series,<br />
Bartlett, hamstrung by coronavirus restrictions was<br />
unable to produce work with the aid of his local art<br />
reproduction house as he usually would.<br />
These limitations led Bartlett to employ<br />
a work flow inspired by the late artist<br />
Romare Bearden:Half collage, half painting.<br />

slice of California frozen in<br />
time, for more than sixty years.<br />
How does that retreat sound?<br />
Operating out of his small apartment in Highland Park,<br />
Los Angeles, Sterling Bartlett is a long timeGlobe<br />
collaborator, artist, designer, bread baker<br />
and hot sauce maker. For this two-board series,<br />
Bartlett, hamstrung by coronavirus restrictions was<br />
unable to produce work with the aid of his local art<br />
reproduction house as he usually would.<br />
These limitations led Bartlett to employ<br />
a work flow inspired by the late artist<br />
Romare Bearden:Half collage, half painting.<br />
