FTMB Magazine December 2020

PRETTY PRINCESS TOURNAMENT
This event was held on the 10th of December.

THOUGHTS AND
FEELINGS:
iiMochix_cat from fairytail has participated
in the Pretty Princess Tournament and would
like to share some thoughts about it.
I think it was really fun as you can fight
against others which you can learn from
them, like their dodging or aiming skills.
On the other hand, I think it was not a boring
event as you can talk to the participants
there which decreases your boredom while
waiting for the next fight.
THE EVENTS:
n the first round it was an FFA. I myself have
participated in it and was flawlessed in the
middle, but let’s not talk about that.
Alexcoolgamer was the last standing in the FFA
as he didn’t get damaged much at the beginning,
he did a great job in winning it. Later on, he had
an 1v1 with xAndylx and lost. It was a tragedy as
Alexcoolgamer was pretty close winning against
xAndylx.
Next, we had 3v3s, I am in a team with OjiMax and
KID_GAME. I personally think we did a great job in
beating CrSo in the first round, but in the second
round, we unfortunately lost due to boyfailed, vyvy
and xAndylx were really strong. But on the other
hand, other teams were doing great and carried out
a lot. In the end, boyfailed, vyvy and xAndylx won
the tournament.

THE NEW MAGICS:
So recently, Sompapi and Kulture added 2 new
magics, One called Egg magic, which was released on
12/04/2020, and Orient Solid Script, which got released
on the date 12/06/2020.
Egg magic consists of Short cooldown and low
damage moves, with high intereference, such
as semi-blinds and trips. The movepool is fairly
simple and comes with few to 0 glitches, and as
person in charge of the Magic Ban list, this makes
me very happy.
Orient Solid Script however, came with MANY
glitches on the ultimate, even starting out with
people complaining about it being too weak. The
ult permanently stunned people and their ability
to jump got taken from them, which resulted in
me banning the magic ENTIRELY.
However, this was claimed to be fixed on
12/08/2020, which wasn’t the case in the
slightest, the glitch still happened.
On 12/09/2020 Orient Solid Script got MANY
buffs, which resulted in many complaints about
the hitbox and cooldown of the move ‘GO’ which
is basically a stun the size of the arena, think
Celestial Libra.
On 12/12/2020 this glitch that caused it to be banned,
got fixed, and thus I did unban in for like a day.
HOWEVER, this fix made another glitch pop up, which
made the ultimate have a lingering hitbox after the
move had missed, and if it did hit, with the lingering
hitbox, the opponent would be permanently stunned
yet again. This magic so far, has been VERY problematic.

WHICH REQUIP ARMOR IS THE
STRONGEST?
By far one of the most iconic and popular magics
from the Fairy Tail anime is Requip: The Knight. In the
FTMB Community though it is in the middle of the pack
coming in tied 6th in the recent magic census.
Today we are going to be looking at the stats of the
armors unlocked at Level 40, Flight, Black Wing, Giant,
Purgatory, and Heaven’s Wheel. After we look at the
stats, I will determine which armor is strongest based
off of stats, not the players that use them or even how
battles pan out between the players. With that out of
the way let’s begin!
FLIGHT ARMOR:
By far the quickest of all of the armors, Flight Armor has a large speed boost
of 20%, but does not have any damage reduction. In addition to this, it has
two fast hitting attacks, the basic called Flight Blades, and the Ultimate (so to
speak), Sonic Claw. The Flight Blade attack has two variations, a 10 damage,
and a 13 damage attack. In a similar light to Dual Blades, this can be basically
spammed as it has a 1-2 second cooldown between each strike. Sonic Claw is
an attack that takes the Dual Blades and the Speed Ultimate and throws them
together. This attack does 20 damage, but has a 25 second cooldown. The DPS
of just Flight Armor attacks is 0.53 DPS, which brings it to 1st place for now.
HEAVENS WHEEL ARMOR:
Heaven’s Wheel Armor is by far one of the most iconic armors due to its
role as one of Ezra Scarlet’s main armors. This armor is similar in speed
and defence stats to Black Wing Armor, with a 20% defence boost and a
10% speed increase. This armor has two attacks, Heaven’s Blades, and
Blumenblatt. Heaven’s Blades does 8 damage, and knockback, but it has
a 1 second cooldown. Blumenblatt is the third and final ranged attack for
requip. It sends a barrage of swords for about 10 seconds, and for every
sword hit it does 4 damage, but this attack has a 20 second cooldown.
After doing some testing, we found the average damage for this attack was
28-32 damage (I will use 30 for calculating DPS). The DPS of just Heaven’s
Wheel Armor attacks is 0.90 DPS, which is not too far behind Purgatory and
Black Wing Armor.
GIANT ARMOR:
What I would consider to be the tank of all armors, Giant Armor, has a HUGE
defence boost of 30%. To get this giant boost (haha), it forgoes a speed
boost, which can make it harder to fight for the user in certain situations.
Giant Armor comes with two attacks, Spear of Haja, and Throw. The Spear
of Haja deals 9 damage, and has a 1.5 second cooldown. Throw is the second
ranged requip attack, and it does 20 damage, and knockback, but it has a
cooldown of 30 seconds. The DPS of just Giant Armor attacks is 0.46 DPS,
which puts it into last place.
To figure out what armor is the strongest,
there are 4 categories I would like to
compare: Damage, Defence, and Speed. In
each of these categories I will award points
with 5 being the highest, and 1 the lowest.
To answer the question at the beginning,
“Which armor is strongest?” The stats show
that Black Wing is the strongest out of all 5
variations. Just because it shows in the stats
doesn’t mean it is, because there are 4 other
attacks and endless different strategies and
combos to be used for each. If you really want
to find out which is the best for yourself, I
suggest you give them all a try! Thank you for

BLACK WING ARMOR:
One of the cooler looking armors, Black Wing Armor, has a quite balanced
speed and defence boost of 10% speed, and 15% defence. This armor has
two attacks, Black Wing Blades, and Moon Flash which is one of three requip
ranged attacks. The first attack, Black Wing Blades, does 8 damage with a
cooldown of 2 seconds. The Moon Flash attack does up to 26 damage (can do
13 if one of the slashes misses), with a cooldown of 12 seconds. The DPS of
just Black Wing Armor attacks is 1.21 DPS, which is more than enough to beat
Flight Armor.
PURGATORY ARMOR:
The spikiest of all the armors. Purgatory, has an amazing defence boost at
20%, but only a small 5% increase in speed. This armor has two attacks,
Spiked Mace and Purgatory Slam. Spiked Mace does a whopping 15
damage, with only a 1 SECOND COOLDOWN! Its other attack, Purgatory Slam,
is a clickaim that does 20 damage, launches you into the air, and only has a
15 second cooldown. The DPS of just Purgatory Armor attacks is 1.09 DPS,
which is almost enough to pass Black Wing Armor.

Warm Memories
Wednesday Afternoon, Exactly 4:29pm,December 23 In the
Philippines Time Zone.
These past few days I've been feeling the same old vibes
wherein I can still remember the Old Me. The Old Me that is
Lacking Experience and knowledge in this game. But now look
at me, I Am Now A Writer of Sorcery Weekly and Also a Trial
Journalist of the Team Content Creators and also a Class A
wizard at fairy tail and a knight raid apprentice of Jane. and
i believe that I reach this far because of the people who are
surrounding me and guiding me throughout my journey as a
wizard and also as a part of the community.
FTMB or also known as Fairy Tail Magic Brawl. Lots of people
think that this is just a game. A game for kids to be specific.
But little do they know that this game also helps a-lot of
people to grow what they are right now.
Fairy Tail Magic Brawl is A Game where you can meet a-lot
of warm hearted people. The Community itself can also
be considered as home. Because this game might be just
an online game. But the sincerity of people within the
community will always be felt.
Me personally as one of the members of this community I’ve
experienced a-lot of things in this game and this community.
I had my ups and downs. In reality and in this online game.
And now if you’re gonna ask me why did i stay? It’s because
even if this is just an online game. People here have a warm
heart that can cheer up a broken soul. This game also helps
me to entertain myself and kill the sadness in reality. and it
also helped me to grow as a person and to be mature in life.
This might be just an online game. But the people you will
meet and bump into will always have a great journey ahead.
The people that I meet in this game have taught
me a lot of things. They improve and develop my
personality and also they cheer me up when I'm so
down in reality and in game. People in this game can
be toxic because every person has its own flaws,but
there are people like this too.
The scenserity they give,and the kindness they show
will always be treasured. this game might be just a
game. but this game is where you can also create
warm memories that will always be treasured and
engrave in someone's heart.
So hi there people it's me LucyHeartfiliiiia or also
known as the wannabe (Pleas-) just wanna drop
a lesson that even if you grow as a player or as a
person always learn how to look back where you
came from. Because a person that is down to earth
will always be remembered. that's all yall kindly have
a great and wonderful day everyone wish you all the

CHRISTMAS IN FTMB
Finally, it is that time of years to put up those stockings,
make gingerbread houses, and stuff your face with
sugar cookies! A great winter to spend with family and
friends away from work and school, but also a great time
to check out some of the updates in FTMB. The bells are
ringing and the sleighs are soaring, Christmas has arrived
to our grand community.
To predict possible Christmas Events, let’s take a look
at the past. Last year, there was an art contest and the
winner’s art would have been displayed in the thumbnail
cover and the Discord server icon. It was a great honor
to be recognized and have your art representing such an
admirable community; they would also win guild points
as well. It was definitely a hard choice, but ultimately
MaxArchazus won 30 guild points and got his artwork
displayed. Do you possibly want to show off your own

Creators as an artist!
Besides the art contest, the map was altered drastically to fit the theme of Christmas.
It was an unexpected update, but for the most part everyone was pleasantly surprised.
There was snow, presents, lights and decorated trees interspersed all throughout FTMB;
it was practically a Winter Wonderland.
Not only have we been treated with numerous events, the
developers have introduced a new update for the maps.
Magnolia received major change; “the town has all of the same
elements from before (shops, NPC, Lacrima) with many new
surprises”.
Although the structure of Magnolia has not changed, it
morphed into a completely new town with impeccable details
and stunning sights. And for Christmas, the developers
updated maps to reward or gift us in various ways. For
example, in Haregon there is a Snowman Boss at the Training
to fight with your friends and you will level up twice as fast in
comparison to the Oshibana Wizards.
In Magnolia and Crocus, there is a Christmas tree that spawns
every 20 minutes; practically free leveling. And in Onibus, you
can search for hidden presents that drop every 20 minutes and
these presents will give you 3 spins!
Have you been naughty or nice? Find out in Oshibana where
Santa throws 100 presents over the town, it may give you 500
jewels or it may be a fatal explosion depending on how you
have behaved this year! And to please the community even
more, they have allowed for people to switch communities
with a 10-minute cooldown after picking one and the staff has
released a new code “christmas!” which will give you 5 spins.
So enjoy this time of year by coming
down to FTMB and spending time
with your friends.

THIS YEAR?
Moving onto this year, we have already seen
a plethora of guild events and RK events. For
example, the Jolly Ho’s Event and the Winter
Wonderland Brawl. These events celebrate
Christmas while offering ways to get guild points
and there will be many more to come so keep an
eye out for them!
