SESTO SAN GIOVANNI

METRO &TRAIN STATION

A project for open-air

meeting point and multi

trasportation center.

MILAN/ITALY



BRIEF:

The Sesto San Giovanni station project aims to create not only a new infrastructural

node and a link between two parts of the city, but also a dynamic place that, thanks to

the many services it offers, stands as a new social hub.

The station consists of different components systems: the large roofs that create a covered

square, the bridge sews the urban fabric of the old city with what will be the new

neighborhood and the building systems.

SPORT COMPLEX

A project for neighborhood

multi -functional sport center

MILAN/ITALY


BRIEF:

The project is located in

the lot comprising the Sesto

San Giovanni station, longitudinal

to the tracks, of a total

length of about 800m.

The objective is to produce a

complex comprising sports,

commercial activities and places

suitable for organizing large

events in assigned lot and a

sports park.

The new designed multi-purpose

center consists of two

buildings, the ice rink building

and the gym / pool building,

along with the square they

overlook, aiming to create a

new social center for the city of

Sesto San Giovanni.

On both fronts, our buildings

are visible in a row of

roof-bearing structures. Give

necessary scan of area and

monumental effect to the public

space in between.

The facade of the complexes

are designed with a curtain

wall having a separated selfsustained

structure.

The infrastructure supports a

variety of sport activities

Multipurpose building:

swimming pool, gym rooms,

climbing wall.

Ice Hokey building:

Stalls for 4000 people with

Ice-Hokey track and Training

track.
