Schools of Hope is currently looking for volunteers to tutor West High School students
one-on-one this semester for at least one hour per week. If you enjoy working with youth
and would like to help a student succeed, please contact Schools of Hope Tutor

Taiko Drumming Winter Concert - Friday Jan 27 th , 7-8 P.M.
West High Cafenasium
And… Kayak Raffle coming in January!
You are invited to attend the West High Taiko Drumming Club Winter Concert on Friday, January
27 th , from 7-8 P.M. in the West High Cafenasium. Any children under 14 will be invited to learn a
song and perform with us during the finale! This is a great opportunity to bring the whole family,
and a chance to see our full show!
There is no admission, but donations are welcome. Also, we will be raffling off a Kayak during the
month of January, and the winner will be announced at the concert. We will be selling 50 tickets, for
$10 each. If you are interested in buying a raffle ticket, please contact Heidi Hastings at
hhastings@madison.k12.wi.us. All proceeds from the kayak raffle and the concert will be used to
purchase more uniforms and equipment for our ever expanding group. Please visit our website for
