Report on research topic of Environmental Excellence - for Bee'ah's e-magazine project THE GREEN CRUSADER

This magazine is a "Community" based
"Educational" project on Environmental Sustenance
and I have tried to highlight the current issues, UAE
governments initiatives and some suggestions and
mitigation steps as foreseen by me. I have entitled
this magazine as "THE GREEN CRUSADER",
which essentially intends to be "THE GREEN
REFORMER" and is a small step towards creating
the paradigm shift to a perspective of a better
future. The perspicacity of UAE government, the
clarity in their vision for a green future and the
limpid approach has generated a great interest and
success in the field of Environmental Sustenance,
likewise this project showcases the audacity of youth
like me to dream for a quantum leap towards a
green and clean future with nonchalance.
The year 2020 was an unforgettable year for the
entire mankind and was equally challenging to UAE
as well. But as always UAE has stood up to all the
challenges and proved to the entire world that we can
overcome all challenges with great grit and
determination. The perseverance shown by the
leadership of UAE, spearheaded by H.H Sheikh
Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, The UAE President
and Ruler of Abu Dhabi and H.H Sheikh Mohammed
bin Rashid Al Maktoum, The UAE Vice President &
Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, is unmatched in
this unprecedented times.

The consequences

profound and farreaching

Environment issues do not have any boundaries and
the brunt of the environmental degradation is
being felt today by one and all. The climate crisis is
accelerating at an unprecedented rate, and we are
not ready for it. While the crisis has many factors
that play a role in its exacerbation, there are some
that warrant more attention than others. I have
made an effort to contribute my suggestions for
mitigation steps in Section D, which I believe will
be beneficial to the UAE government as well as can
prove to be a modest step towards Environmental
Sustenance.
Environmental sustenance is the responsibility of
each and every citizen as it has always been us as
human beings that have destroyed it and have put
unsurmountable burden on our Nature to an
irreparable level. A recent report from CNN states
that "the year 2020 could be the year when humanmade
artificial-mass surpasses the overall weight of
biomass (estimated to be 1.1 teratons)", which is
another perturbing matter, for which we are
unaware of how the Earth will react.
