Count on performance

Shaping
by cutting
with extreme
precision
We manufacture complex industrial
components for sectors that operate
with extreme requirements on
precision and quality. Thanks to our
superior technical skills, the leading
spearhead technology on the market
and remarkable flexibility, we
can handle even the most challenging
production projects. Our broad
customer base encompasses worldleading
pharmaceutical companies,
the aerospace industry and hi-tech
niche enterprises.
We take on everything from comprehensive designand-build
commissions – where we are involved from
the initial idea phase onwards – to small-batch production
and consultancy in the field of product development.
By participating actively in the process from
the drawing board stage, we ensure agile production
and make sure to meet all demands and expectations.
In fact, the earlier we join the process, the better we
can optimise production and the end result.

Using our own-design process management system
– PLUPP (Product Lifetime Unified Production
Path) – we ensure that the products progress from
prototype phase to batch production in a smooth,
cost-efficient manner.
Focus on the environment
and sustainability
LK Precision focuses unswervingly on work with sustainability.
In all areas of our manufacturing process,
we apply environmental management and quality
assurance systems approved to the applicable ISO
standards. We tailor our development production
activities to enhance sustainability, and work closely
with customers and organisations on sustainable solutions.
We always choose the most eco-friendly work
methods and are committed to reducing emissions
and energy consumption. The demands we make on
our own operation are often much more stringent
than those set out in the prevailing environmental
legislation and regulations, and we strive constantly
to minimise our environmental impact in all areas.
Service and the personal touch
With unswerving commitment to your specific needs
and a finely tuned problem-solving approach, we
make sure your delivery features the highest quality
in all areas. Throughout the production process, we
are on hand to provide advice, answer questions and
keep you updated about how the work is progressing.
We supply the personal touch which we know our
customers find reassuring.
30 advanced CNC machines, most of which can
perform 5-axle machining. Through regular quality
assurance processes in our own-design quality system,
we guarantee the highest quality in all phases
of the manufacturing process. We are also investing
heavily in automation and robotisation so as to optimise
efficiency and capacity utilisation. This actually
entails several of our machines operating 24/7.
Prototype or full-scale production?
Our manufacturing process is principally geared to
small and medium-sized batches that are subject to
the highest demands on precision. The customer’s
needs, wishes and requirements are always centre
stage, and we undertake everything from assistance
with product development to prototype manufacture
and full-scale production.
Examples of the services we provide include:
· Project management
· Product development
· Materials science
· Tool manufacture
· Preparation
· Production
· Measuring facility services
· Assembly
· Manual processing
· Warehousing
· Labelling, cleaning and packaging
World-class equipment
We keep a close eye on the development of new
machinery, and make sure our production apparatus
is always updated with the best equipment on the
market. Our machine fleet currently comprises around

When
mistakes are
not an
option
The components we manufacture
are often used in the medico-technical
industry and other sectors
where human life and health can be
put at risk if the products provide
anything less than optimal function.
The highest precision and accuracy
are thus the alpha and omega of
our production processes. Here is a
small selection of customer cases.

CASE
SAAB
BOL300
FROM DRAWING BOARD
TO PRODUCTION
CLIENT
The SAAB electronic defence system for military
aircraft involves the manufacture of the BOL
missile defence system, which protects aircraft
from missile attack by firing a blast of heat towards
heat-seeking missiles, thus leading them away
from their intended target.
NEED
With a tight window for getting its new product,
BOL3000, to the market, SAAB needed a full-service
strategic partner to assist with everything from the design
phase to final production of the components. The
structure of the product made it imperative for SAAB
to work with a supplier skilled in both design and the
advanced machining of tough-to-process materials.
RESULT
In just a short time, we designed and manufactured
components for the BOL300 system. The project
was a great success and helped SAAB launch its new
product on the market within the specified timeframe.
Over the course of 20 years as a strategic supplier
to SAAB, we have designed and manufactured
a large number of similar components
for the company’s range
of aircraft.
CASE
Cytiva
FAULTLESS COMPONENTS FOR
MACHINES VITAL TO LIFE
CLIENT
Cytiva manufactures computer tomographs, MRI
scanners, ultrasound devices, research equipment
and other technical solutions that boost efficiency
and safety in the healthcare sector, and which make
it possible to improve the diagnosis and treatment
of patients with illnesses such as cancer, Alzheimer’s
and diseases of the heart and major vessels.
NEED
Given the extremely high quality demands that apply
to its products, Cytiva was looking for a partner with
an iron-clad quality assurance system. The components
for Cytiva’s medical laboratory equipment had to be
faultless down to the smallest detail. When human
lives are at stake, mistakes are not an option.
RESULT
We have been manufacturing components for Cytiva’s
medical laboratory equipment for over 20 years. In
recent years, we have primarily been delivering
components for the ÄKTA range, which is used for
research into diseases such as cancer. Thanks to our
in-depth knowledge of Cytiva’s products and needs,
we are able to deliver components with a margin of
error of just 2,000 ppm. (The highest permitted ppm
for such components is 27,500). We constantly check
to see what else we can do to optimise production
and shorten delivery times.
