VERDICHTUNG │ COMPACTING<br />
Das Fräsgut wurde unmittelbar nach dem Fräsvorgang mit<br />
einem lasergesteuerten Grader nivelliert und mit einer<br />
Stahlmantelwalze und einer Gummiradwalze verdichtet, um<br />
das vorgegebene Verdichtungsmaß zu gewährleisten.<br />
Die Tragschicht war damit für die Installation der Deckschicht<br />
aus Asphalt vorbereitet. Alternativ wäre auch eine<br />
Deckschicht aus Pflasterung oder Chipseal möglich gewesen,<br />
ebenso die der Verzicht auf jegliche Deckschicht und der<br />
Betrieb der Tragschicht als sog. naturnahe Oberfläche.<br />
Immediately after the milling operation, the milled material<br />
was leveled with a laser-controlled grader and compacted<br />
with a steel jacket roller and a pneumatic tired roller to<br />
ensure the specified degree of compaction.<br />
The base course was thus prepared for the installation of the<br />
asphalt wearing course. Alternatively, a paving or chipseal<br />
surface would have been possible, as well as the omission of<br />
any surface course and the operation of the base course as a<br />
so-called near-natural surface.<br />
