The great outdoors

designed for you

Boundless Outdoors has become the premier provider of outdoor

education and field studies in the West Midlands.

With both centres set in the picturesque area of Worcestershire

groups get to experience the great outdoors on their doorstep.

While classroom learning tends to concentrate on

academic development, we offer the chance for pupils

to acquire enduring skills for life outside - team work,

communication, problem-solving, making new

friends and having fun along the way.

Our focus on these areas also instils confidence,

self-awareness and self-esteem in all our groups

Our centres are located in Worcestershire meaning we

are within easy reach of many places providing opportunities for day

trips and multiple activities.

Our highly qualified team of course directors and instructors have the skills

and expertise to design bespoke experiential adventures specifically aimed at

meeting your groups needs no matter what their requirements may be.

Sleeping over at Bell Heath

Bell Heath is set in 20 acres of secluded woodland grounds.

With accommodation for up to 72 students in our main house

and additional space on the camp site.

To ensure the best residential experience for visitors,

all our accommodation is sole occupancy,

meaning no other schools will be sharing your space.

Main block:

Consisting of 72 beds set in a classic single storey building.

There are 8 dormitory style rooms, sleeping 8 in each room.

Campsite:

These large 10 man tents are ideal for spending a first night

away under canvas

Additional needs:

Groups that have users with additional needs can be

accommodated with easy access throughout the building,

disabled showers and toilets.

We have hydraulic beds to make life easy.

Staying at Malvern

Our Malvern Centre is set in 9 acres of secluded woodland grounds,

with accommodation for up to 100 students,

split into 3 separate areas within the site.

To ensure the best residential experience for visitors we aim to

keep groups together within their own accommodation block

and not share facilities with other groups.

South Block:

Consisting of 56 beds set in a classic single storey building.

North Block:

With 44 beds, this modern style brick building has

its own dedicated common room and skittles alley.

Chalet:

Featuring disabled access and accommodating smaller groups

of up to 18 people this Scandinavian style wooden-built chalet

Is set on one level also includes disabled toilet and

shower facilities.

Campsite:

With its own dedicated facilities, groups can enjoy

roasting marshmallows over the camp fire and sing along

to their hearts content in our camping barn.

Every child matters

We hold an AALS Licence that requires:

• regular checks of our staff operating guidelines

• staff qualification levels

• appropriate risk assessments

• HSE monitoring

• assessments of equipment standards

We are regularly inspected by Activity National Governing Bodies

and are certified with Public Liability Insurance.

Safety is of paramount importance and we are assessed to the highest

standards. Extensive safety procedures and systems are in place to

ensure that all participants get the most out of their experience in our

rigorously risk asWWWsessed environment.

However, whilst rigorous in our approach to safety, we aim to provide a

challenging environment where people can enjoy outdoor learning as

part of their overall development.

“Helping young people to experience and handle risk is part of

preparing them for adult life and the worldW of work.”

Judith Hackett CBE. Chair, Health & Safety Executive

Our highly experienced leaders:

• are enhanced DBS checked

• are trained and assessed extensively

• have National Governing Body Awards

• are qualified in First Aid

• adopt industry ‘best practice’

• are invested in and trained continually

Our centre values

Trusted

A key element throughout life. The groups will

not only learn to use and trust the equipment

and each other. Once trust is developed with

the group the outcomes are far higher and

bring greater learning to the individual

High Ropes, Climbing, Poles Course, Zip Wire,

King Swing

Nurturing

With all our activities we build the groups

understanding and knowledge around the

subject. We not only aim for students to develop

a greater understanding about the environment

they are in but the people they are with as well.

Problem Solving, Archery, Bush Craft, Night

Line, The Mine

Passionate

Everything we do is passionate in what we do.

We help individuals to reach their potential and

then try and beat it. We aim to teach young

people to try their hardest and never give in.

Hill Walks, Low Ropes, Grass Sledging

Inspiring

Learning is a lot more engaging if it is fun and

exciting. All our activities have these elements

along with a little sprinkle of adrenaline thrown

in for good measure.

Raft building, Canoeing, Kayaking, Abseiling
