Don’t miss out on your trip to Greece …

Greek Street food

Souvlaki . The Greek equivalent to french fries on the

streets of Amsterdam or hot dogs in New York. In most

of the recipes it has meat, tomatoes, onion, fries, and

tzatziki which is a garlicky sauce.

When served in pita bread this usually costs less that 3

euro per souvlaki – and two are enough !

An “acquired” taste… Greek Coffee

Greek coffee is unlike the Espresso, Cappuccino or

filter coffees. It is served in a small cup and has a lot of

“residue”. Definitely worth a tasting, not definite

about the taste as it is an “acquired” one!!

Santorini tastes

See how the unique climate of Santorini has given the island exceptional wine.

Considered the best fava bean salad and of course the famous Santorini tomatoes!

The history of vine cultivation goes back

to pre-historic times in Santorini, as

revealed by the excavations in Akrotiri. It

is an island with a long wine-making

tradition and of particular interest to

wine lovers due to its unique

microclimate and volcanic ground.

“Not content with merely surviving in this

apparently hostile natural environment,

this variety manages to produce a

singular, bone-dry white of inimitable

character”

wines there is also the Visanto: a unique

sweet wine of Santorini offered after a
