Our PGA Pro expert Gordon Hume can

teach you the ropes of this sport in a way

Quellenhof Golf School uses cutting edge

technology including the Scope video &

FlightScope System, which is used for both

private lessons and golf classes. Our facilities

offer training opportunities for any

level, from beginners to advanced players.

OUR GOLF INSTRUCTOR

Gordon Hume

Gordon Hume has been a golf pro since

1989. He was born near Loch Lomond, in

Scotland. He began his career as a professional

in 1986, when he was only 17.

He was lucky enough to train with Robert

Collinson, one of Scotland’s most famous

and beloved golfers at the time. At the

age of 20, after successfully passing his

exam, Gordon became a qualified member

of the British PGA.

In 1993, after a long and instructive trip

abroad that included several professional

tournaments, he became a member of

the German PGA and began his teaching

career at the Wilkendorf Castle Golf

Academy in Berlin.

After that, Gordon spent 6 years as a head

pro at the Helengerst Golf Club in the

Allgäu region and 8 more years as a head

pro at the Passiria.Merano Golf Club in

South Tyrol, where he also trained the local

young golfers for some years.

Gordon now works as a pro at Quellenhof’s

Golf School.

BOOKING YOUR GOLF CLASSES

AND LESSONS

Golf courses must be booked in advance

by filling out the registration form and

submitting it to the reception at the

Quellenhof Resorts by 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Please note that you need to submit

the registration form even if you have

pre-booked your course or private lessons

from home.

The planned courses and private lessons

schedule will be announced in the

conference room on Sunday at 7.30 p.m.

Courses are not subject to weather

con ditions as they will be held in a

covered area. The tokens for the golf

ball dispensers are available from the

reception at the Quellenhof Resorts and

Hotel Alpenschlössel.

A basic knowledge of golf is taught in a

relaxed and informal way.

Services: two 90-minute group lessons with

a PGA certified golf instructor, split across

2 days, rental of golf clubs and practice

balls, use of practice greens (driving range,

putting/pitching green)

Basic class

The ideal choice for those who have a newly

discovered passion for golf and those who

wish to train for their handicap certificate or

golf licence.

Included services: four 90-minute lessons,

rental of golf balls and clubs, video-analysis,

The course duration is reduced by

Preparation classes for the Platzreife licence

The Platzreife is a golf licence that is generally

required to play on golf courses

in German-speaking countries, including

South Tyrol. Knowledge of the basics of

golf is prerequisite for this course, which will

improve your game speed and precision

and teach you how to keep a cool head

during your Platzreife exam.

Included services: five 120-minute lessons,

rental of golf balls and clubs, video-analysis,

green fee for the hotel’s golf course,

certificate of completion.

Min. 2, max. 6 participants. The course duration

is reduced by 120 minutes with 2 participants,

or 60 minutes with 3 participants.

Preparation classes for the Platzreife

licence and temporary club card

Once you have obtained your licence,

you will have free access to Quellenhof

Golf Club’s internationally recognised golf

course, and you can enjoy all the privileges

reserved for members. Included services:

the same as for the standard golf licence

preparation course, plus a temporary

membership card for the Quellenhof Golf

Club, valid until the end of the year.

DIVING SCHOOL

QUELLENHOF

A DIVE AMONG THE SOUTH TYROLEAN ALPS

Demanding but uniquely rewarding, diving is usually associated

with the sea. Quellenhof is the exception!

Quellenhof See Lodge with its 4,500 m2 swimming lake offers

guests a unique opportunity to learn diving in Alpine surroundings.

The course will start with an introduction to some theoretical and

practical basics such as underwater hand signals, breathing

techniques, equipment handling and pressure equalisation

techniques.

After that, our certified diving instructor will take you diving in the

swimming lake at Quellenhof See Lodge, which offers optimal

conditions for diving and getting to grips with weightlessness.

Additionally, we have a diving pool with a depth of up to 6 metres

for those who wish to obtain their entry-level diver certification.

TENNIS SCHOOL

FOR BEGINNERS, ADVANCED AND TOURNAMENT PLAYERS

The Quellenhof Resorts offer five clay

tennis courts, one hard tennis court,

two padel courts and a new pickleball

court. Four more tennis courts are

situated only 5 minutes away – perfect

for preparing for the tournament season

or just for fun. At our tennis school,

we draw up a personalised training

programme for each player, using the

most innovative techniques for both

theoretical and practical training. All our

instructors have been trained by DTB-A

coach Tomas Klimek, an ITA alumnus.

A former ATP professional player (ranking

296), Klimek is supported by Christian

Kofler, our local tennis instructor who is

also part of the Quellenhof Tennis School

team.

Friday at 8 p.m. Course planning takes place in the

meeting room every Sunday at 9 p.m.

If you can no longer attend the lesson you booked,

tennis instructor by 8 p.m. the evening before, so

as to free the time slot for other guests. No-shows

will be billed in full.
