St<strong>and</strong>alone <strong>cabinet</strong> access <strong>systems</strong> are for<br />
smaller or distributed installations. Each <strong>cabinet</strong><br />
has a dedicated controller <strong>and</strong> biometric<br />
(BioLock) or card reader (CardLock) for user<br />
authentification.<br />
In a networked <strong>cabinet</strong> access system, a central<br />
controller distributes control signals <strong>and</strong> power<br />
to up to 32 <strong>cabinet</strong>s when authenticating<br />
at the <strong>cabinet</strong> level <strong>and</strong> 31 <strong>cabinet</strong>s when<br />
authenticating at the end of row. For <strong>cabinet</strong>-level<br />
authentication, choose between fingerprint<br />
(BioLock) or RFID card (CardLock). For end-ofrow<br />
authentication, the user enters the <strong>cabinet</strong><br />
door they are attempting to access, then uses any<br />
combination of PIN, RFID card <strong>and</strong><br />
fingerprint to authenticate.<br />
