FOREWORD
I would like to congratulate the organizing team of students from Faculty of Art & Design, UiTM Sarawak Branch, for their
success in publishing the 15th ReQaSeni e-catalogue with the theme, “ODYSSEY”. I acknowledge the efforts of the
students who invested more than their time and sweat, working through days and nights to complete their art & design
work. Their commitment in ensuring the success of this exhibition is also commendable.
This is the first time that our final year students produce their art & design work through virtual class using ODL
methods. This shift was necessary because of the COVID-19 pandemic that has plagued the world and we are not spared.
However, the success of producing their art & design work proves that the students from the Faculty of Art and Design
are resilient and they can overcome any potential stumbling blocks that come their way. UiTM Sarawak has always been
very supportive of the arts and creative industry. At the same time, we are also truly concerned about the development
of arts in Sarawak. The students’ creative works will further strengthen the testament of our united stand in support of
the faculty and arts in general.
There are many constraints brought about by COVID-19, but we will not let it stop us. The current situation is affecting
many art and creative activists. However, it must not be an obstacle that stops them. Instead, it should be taken as a
challenge for them to face this new norm. I am confident and optimistic because art activists such as our students are
always exploring creative work in various ways and finding new perspectives to look at it. I also believe that these art
activists and students have long been exposed to technology and they know how to use that technology as a method to
develop and empower art activities. Let us not forget that with the rapid development of technology, it can become an
intermediary to create a great relationship between art and the human soul. By fully utilising the potentials of digital
platforms & social medias, various information is also available at our fingertips. Therefore, it is appropriate for this
exhibition theme to be “ODYSSEY” for this is a new experience and a new journey towards a new norm in creative arts.
Furthermore, the situation that we are all experiencing now is changing the way we think and work. It is challenging our
creativity as well as our perspective. It is indispensable to try new methods or mediums in doing and overcoming
something to fit the new norm. The virtual ReQaSeni exhibition has proven that art is unlimited and is not confined and it
can follow the flow of today's technology. It is an advantage and may be a profitable avenue for artists to expand and
develop their arts.
Our students have produced magnificent showcased of their artwork through many digital platforms. This is a good
marketing technique which would benefit the artists and designers. It is a great effort for them to market their work
throughout Malaysia and the rest of the world. This is one of UITM's initiatives to produce graduates who excel in
entrepreneurship who are fit, not only for the government sector but also the private sector. What the students
demonstrated in this exhibition are in line with the purpose of UiTM’s establishment in helping local students to be
independent and ultimately becoming a dynamic, progressive, and responsive society.
I am proud of Faculty of Art and Design, UiTM Sarawak Branch, for publishing this 15th issue of ReQaSeni e-catalogue
successfully even though it had to be done digitally. I hope the Faculty of Art and Design will continue to challenge
themselves to be better and better despite the new norms and constraints to highlight students’ talents and to boost the
students’ level of thinking, so they are better prepared to face the world. I hope that all students, especially the students
of the Faculty of Art and Design can continue to have the mindset of not easily giving up and being open to changes in
producing artworks and designs.

I would like to express the endless gratefulness for His bounty, this ReQaSeni Exhibiton 15th Edition by Faculty
of Art and Design final year students successfully run which is called Interactive Online Art Exhibition
Well done and congratulations to the Faculty of art and Deisgn, Universiti Teknologi MARA Cawangan Sarawak
for successfully organizing the exhibiton with the theme ODYSSEY. Teamwork among lecturers and students
was really give positive impact to the faculty and also it raises the faculty name a step forward. Through this
exhibiition, it indirectly gives a deeper understanding of what they have learned throughout the semester
more effectively and practically.
the artworks produced by the final year students from the Graphic & Digital Media Department and Fine Art
Department are vesy interesting and impressive. Their work has the potential to advance even higher and can
be inspired by other artist. In addition, it can be the drive-force for the younger generation out there who are
still in the early stage of study to develop their creativity.
Hence, a million of my appreciation to the lecturers and instructor at faculty of Art & Design in Universiti
Teknologi MARA Cawangan Sarawak who have been worked hard to achieve this. Hopefully, the shed will
bring graduates with first-class and intuitive minds in the future.

First and foremost, highest of praise and gratitude to God Almighty for His Blessings and grace upon us
throughout our diploma journey. I, Isabelle William, project leader for REQASENI XV and student representative
for all Graphic Design students would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude towards
UiTM Sarawak Branch for blessing us with the opportunity to gain not only knowledge but also the gift of life
experience. To our lectures whom we adore and admire, thank you for your wisdom and encouragement for
without their kindness, direction and proper guidance, we would not have been able to complete this amazing
journey of ours. I would also like to thank all my course mates, who have worked so very hard for this event. I
really cannot thank everybody enough for their contribution.
Introducing, REQASENI XV is an event which is meant to showcase the artworks and design made by the
students from the Faculty of Art and Design. The groups that will be showcasing their artwork includes group
Graphic Design and group Fine Art. As a Graphic Design student representative, hereare some facts about us :
The artworks from group Graphic Design that will be showcased are more towards rebranding, redesigning
existing designs and even creating new designs for companies, small business, big business and even for
events of all kinds that need our expertise. As Graphic Design students, the experience and knowledge we have
gained throughout the years especially during this pandemic were so eye opening and inspirational. We faced
a lot of difficulties studying and completing this Diploma in the midst of a Global Pandemic and just like every
other student, we thought we would not be able to get to where we are now but here we all are in our final
semester and one step closer to graduating.
“ODYSSEY” is the identity that we’ve created for our REQASENI XV event with a “futuristic” art direction approach
and with its original graphic language. The reason why we picked “ODYSSEY” was because we can relate to the
meaning behind it which is, “A never ending journey”. A never ending journey to gain new and more knowledge
about art as we venture more through an unknown yet thrilling path to create or even invent newer forms of art
in the future even if we may face an unprecedented global pandemic. Regardless of all the obstacles thrown our
way, we still managed to fulfill our duty through the use of technology which not only connect us all but also
drives us towards the future.
Last but not least, I hope that with this new norm and new era, Graphic design students are able to expand their
view on the world and gain new ideas for their future projects. Future is not only for technology but it is also a
way of thinking what we are capable of, what we are able to achieve with all these new and advanced
technologies and most importantly, what we are able to offer to this world as future designers.

INTRODUCTiON
REQASENI XV is an event that is meant to showcase the artworks and designs made by the
students from the Faculty of Art and Design. The groups that are showcasing their artworks are
from Graphic Design and Fine Art. The work of Graphic Design students are more towards
rebranding, redesigning existing designs, and also creating new designs for companies,
businesses, and events by utilising the use of technology. As for Fine Art students, the artworks
are more on contemporary arts and studying the media dimensions as the main consideration in
producing artwork.
"ODYSSEY" is the identity we have created for our REQASENI XV event with a "FUTURISTIC" art
direction approach. "ODYSSEY" means "A Never-Ending Journey". It's a lifelong journey in gaining
knowledge as we venture through the unknown yet thrilling path in discovering newer forms of
arts in the future despite the trials and errors whilst battling a global pandemic. Regardless of the
obstacles we faced, we still managed to fulfill our duty through the use of technology that helps
us connect and drives us towards the future.
We are also exploring and utilising the potential use of social media as a platform to create an
online Art Exhibition to compromise with the situation we are currently facing. We aim to set an
example for any future events that will be doing something similar. The future is not only on
technology but also a way of thinking about what we are capable of, what we can achieve, and
what we can offer.
A total of 66 students (42 students of Diploma in Graphic Design & Digital Media and 24 students
of Diploma in Fine Arts) from the Faculty of Art & Design are involved in this exhibition which has
reached its 15th edition. Among the artworks that we will are showcasing are Illustration Design,
Multimedia Design, Corporate Design, and Advertising Design. For Diploma in Fine Art, the
visitors can witness the production work which includes Paintings, Print Making, Sculptures, and
Drawings from the selected themes and subject matters.
“ODYSSEY” creates an exclusive and different experience. With the new identity, REQASENI XV is
ready to give a whole new experience to the world they have never seen.
In conclusion, this exhibition is a platform that showcases the skill and ability of students to
identify, specify, analyse and ultimately solve the problem through the high quality of designs and
artworks.

The chosen theme for this year's Diploma Show is “Odyssey”. What makes this year
remarkable is their journey to succeed and adapting to the new norm. The
importance of completing the final project is met with new standard obstacles, but
survival is the key to completing the whole journey until the end of the beginning.
This year, these students have shown that nothing is impossible.
Both educators and students had communication difficulties, and although this
resulted in some miscommunication, the stumbling blocks were not the issue.
Allowing any errors during the design process is a learning process that helps
students grow in the future.

There will be 42 students sharing their ideas in promoting local brands through
"Advertising, illustration, corporate, and multimedia. This is the first digital exhibition
to effectively promote these students to the public at large.

Lecturers believe that these students will be physically and mentally prepared for
the new standard. On behalf of the lecturers in Graphic Design and Digital Media, we

COMPANY
Bro King sells Malaysian most famous snacks that are “Pisang
Goreng” and “Keropok Lekor”. This company is famous for its crispy
“Pisang Goreng” with its special sauce. They serve “Ker opok Lekor”
as a side serving for the company income. The customer loves their
snacks because of the taste and the quality.
The concept that I use to enhance this company design is 'Crunchy'.
The whole design approach of this company's main product which
is “Pisang Goreng” crunchiness was guaranteed and known by all.
From that, I applied the concept of crunchy in terms of visuals (the
meaning of the words extracted from Dictionary) to represent and
strengthen this concept.
The color scheme of these designs was mainly yellow and black
was because it represents the “Pisang Goreng” and it suits the
target group which is students that resides nearby the business
premise

The Shoes Laundry was launched in the year 2016. It is one of the fast
est services in Malaysia where customers can conveniently deliver
their shoes to the shoes laundry and get it cleaned fast and efficiently.
My main concept is 'speed' which to give speedy service to customers.
This is to show that the company is efficient and fast in providing its
service. In order to achieve this quick and efficient process, I came up
with he idea of spiraling water.
In conclusion, my real intention in making The Shoes Laundry project
is to make sure that the customers know and receive the message of
"speed" behind the print-ads

EVENT
To start with, the project that I am working on is for my Studio Project II, I am
working on a project event entitled: Wild Run. Wild Run is Malaysia's only
pet-friendly run, where owners can run alongside their pets. Since the run
primarily focuses on animal welfare, my concept is Run for Wild Life. The
reason I am using this concept is to raise awareness for wild animals and that
they matter and are just as important as indoor pets and that they too need
protection and attention.
To make my idea come to life and to be constructed on paper, I am using the
elements of art of line that blends well with my minimalist vision. I am using
strong line art to show my minimalist idea. On my piece of art which includes
my print-ads, SMT, manual illustration, and my video advertising, I emphasis
my line art, by using contrast color. By doing this the viewer’s eye is automat
ically seeing the main subject that stands out. The reason I am using wild
animals for this project is that I want to raise awareness for wild animals.

The concept that I use for this project is 'unisex'. This is because it will get the
target group's attention that this product can also be used for men. The theme that
I used for this project is 'minimalist' to create a simple, clean look on the design.

people.

The concept that I used ín the design is 'spiciness and 'ouch! you're hot' as the
headline. This will be the main point of a ttraction to those who love spicy
food and it also creates curiosity over the taste.
Both print advertisements and SMT were designed with color and typogr
aphy that match the concept.

Shawl Inspired is a company which releases various brand of hijab. The con
cept for the company is Aiming to be modest no matter what the age and race
is. Lastly, the theme for all the products it releases is 'freshness', regardless
of the situation and the location that you're in.

XXQVINOX was the organizer for the event entitled: "NOT YOUR AVERAGE SHOW".
This event is about music gigs. As a designer for this event, I use medicine as my
main concept in the design. The message that I want to convey is 'music is one of
the therapies'. It is a "metaphor" that I use to attract the audience to this event.
For the color, I use attractive colors to get people's attention to the design.

Pasa Tapok is an event organized to create a connection among the
community and also helping the local brand promoting their business
es. As the designer for this event, I am using the “Hidden Vibe “concept
when organizing this event.
This concept would attract targeted customers which are younger
people because to get to the event they would have to find the hidden
location then only they could experience the actual “hidden vibe “con
cept. Once the customer viewed the marketing collaterals, they are in
for what “Pasa Tapok“ has to offer.

TheCulture 2021, is an annual musical and cultural Malaysia event held in
Bukit Jalil Stadium. It is an event that gathered all the local artists and talent
from all of Malaysia.

Strong Spirit of Music. A concept that I came up with for the event. This is to
show a powerful and strong spirit of musical and cultural event that brings
everybody together.
It is also a concept to show how local musical events can go to the
international level. By Using the Bauhaus art movement, I can apply design
elements to give a modern feel to the overall design.

Asma Cake House was established in 2010 and it’s famous for their Kek
Lapis Sarawak that tastes different and better compared to other kek
lapis Sarawak.
My main concept is ‘pleasure’ which is trying to show pleasure when
eating the kek lapis. I aim to show how tasty and good our kek lapis is
that you get pleasure by just eating it. The art style I picked is ‘Pop Art’
because it’s an art style that uses a lot of bright colours that can easily
take people's attention and I also trying to relate the colourfulness
with the kek lapis

Susu kurma nur is a local product that originated from Sabah and it’s a
halal and nutritious homemade milk that comes with many flavors. The
concept that I use is nostalgia and “once upon a time..“ as the headline.
The reason is that I wanted to evoke the nostalgia feelings towards the
viewer.
As the main idea for this design is, I used a vintage/retro theme. The colour
that I use for this design is less saturated and has a more flat feel

PRODUCT
SICC stands for Sabah Indoor Climbing Centre, located near the Kota
Kinabalu Sport Complex, Sabah, and opened in 2007. SICC is about
indoor rock climbing and outdoor activities.
The activities provided by SICC are catered to adults and children. From
this, they can experience the feeling and the excitement from the
adrenaline rush while doing the wall climbing.
The concept that I use is ''thriller'', to show the climber's fear and how
they can overcome it. I used a variety of colors in my design to show the
fun in overcoming the fear and also a gloomy atmosphere to show how
scary the experience can be.
As for the Typography, it shows how the rock on the wall has its function
with its composition. This kind of design can attract people to read what
it is, just like solving a puzzle.

COMPANY
Tempurung Seaside Lodge is a company, located in Kuala Penyu,
Sabah and this place has been run by Yanti and Frankie since 2007.
This lodge is built with a combination of modern and traditional
architecture by the beautiful beach environment.
The concept that I use for this project is "beach lifestyle" and one
main headline "We Love This Place" along with two additional
headlines "Mommy, I Love This Place" and "Honey, I Love This Place".
Since the target audience is family, kids, and married couples, the
concept and headlines are very suitable and it can emotionally
attract them to visit this place.
Next, I used the image manipulation technique for both print ads and
SMT. As for the font, I used the handwriting font because it suits my
project's design, and it looks not too modern and too traditional. For
the color, I used the beach color which is sea blue and sand brown
color for the example, and those colors can resemble the beach and
it matches well for my project's design.

Gila-Gila is a cartoon magazine published by Malaysian Comic & Cartoon
House. It was started in the 1980s and still in production today in Southeast
Asia. The concept I use for this product is New Era and the idea is 'modern' and
'illusion'. The target audience for this product is adolescent or Gen-Z. For this
product, I use a complex composition and use both organic and geometric
shapes, and use illustrations. Using a combination of organic and geometric
shapes will create illusions. The color that I choose is red, blue and yellow, it
will make my target audience curious and want to know more a
bout the product.

Pet Fiesta is the largest indoor and outdoor pet fair in Malaysia orga
nized by Expowork. For the past 3 years, this event was held at Setia
City Convention Centre, Shah Alam, Selangor. Since this is about pets,
my concept for the event is care, love, and protection.
I choose this concept is because I wanted to show that pets need
care, loves, and need to be protected by us. To make it look more
interesting or make people out there look more about this event, I
choose cyber punk as an idea and theme. This concept makes it look
more futuristic. I choose Pet Fiesta for this project is because I want
people to learn more about the pet and know why we need to protect
them.

Sarawak Against Bullying is an event that creates awareness on bullies
that is a serious social issue in Malaysia. This event was held in 2018. For
the design, I am using the concept of “The Truth of Cyber” since the focus is
on Cyberbullying.
In the design, I use the silhouette to show the 'shadowy’ anonymity of the

this event is about teenagers and nowadays, they utilize social media in

This product is inspired by local fruit products from a small company that
produces many types of beverage products but I have chosen 'Asam
kedondong' as the main product. This product has many benefits because
the nutrients in the drinks produced are good and safe for all ages
including children. Choosing the right concept is important for a product.
With this, customers can know the product image from the outside. For the
logo, I use green because the fruit used is kedondong. I use the 'Bubble
bubble' font to show the 3D effect on my logo and add a whirlpool.
For print ads, the water around the bottle shows the freshness of the
product by using real fruit and ice cubes. To promote it, I have chosen the
billboard because it can be seen by the public even from afar. Many ways
to promote goods one of the designs of an exhibition is the process of
developing an exhibition, from concept to physical three-dimensional
exhibition. As seen through my design, I put kiosks in places that many
people visit to attract customers to buy my prod ucts such as
supermarkets. The kiosk is an easy place to visit because it is public and
can promote goods and deal directly with customers. Finally, for the illus
tration work, I use several types of colors for embossed effects such as
water color, crayon, and wood color.

Baleh Kapit Raft Safari is an annual rafting competition held along the
Rejang River. It is a two-day rafting contest organized by the Tourism Task
Group of Kapit. It has been a much-anticipated event in the area since its
inaugural event in 1996.
The idea behind the concept design of my artwork is about enjoying the
experience of Iban hospitality. I basically focused more on the food where
the participants will indulge in a new experience during the event. This is
also one of the uniqueness and reason why the organizers have come up
with this competition, which is believed to attract many participants from
within and outside the country to experience the Iban lifestyle and being
exposed to the Iban race.

Fish Spa Bombon Kampung Marakau is a tourism company. The main
attraction at this fish spa is its koi fish as this type of fish is rarely used
for foot therapy in Malaysia.
As a designer for this company, I chose a 'happy mood booster' concept
as it is in line with the company's concept. I included colorful elements
to brighten up my concept. The technique that I used in the print ads is
illustration.
I choose koi fish cartoon character for my print ads because it is able
to attract the attention of children, as well as the elderly.

The social media-based business called ‘KekBatikKch’ is a business that
served batik cake desserts. The concept is to redesign this company’s logo
and make it as lively, bright and modern so that it could attract many
customers from various gender and background as possible.
The printed advertisements, illustration, the 3D display and the video
advertisement shared one common theme, which is "explosively filling". In
addition, the concept is also applying a huge amount of chocolate in their
product with the effect of the chocolate exploded everywhere. A mascot
was designed and named "Charlotte" and this could be seen in the video
advertisement. Part of the concept is to represent the company with a
mascot.

Kanowit Powerboat Racing is an event usually held once a year in Kanowit
town, Sibu, Sarawak. This event will be participated by teams around the
Borneo. Kanowit Powerboat Racing has been organized by the Kanowit
District Council.
My ideas for the logo were based on the organizer’s request and in line with
the purpose of this event. I tried to produce a logo which is as clean as
possible to make it appear nice. This logo only has three color
combinations, which are red, blue and dark blue. For the design, I merely
included three elements, which are boat, water splash and Iban motif.

My name is Denniel. I am working on an event related to 'Martial Arts'. My
client's name is 'Antonio Batistessa'. I decided to do this in order to
change people’s perspective.
My concept is 'Gratification'. Gratification is the feeling of satisfactory
towards a goal. For my three-series ad, it highlights a strong character
behind every individual. The sport is meant to raise their confidences. As
for my illustration, it features the two lifestyles of a regular person. The
one in red is an everyday normal guy while in blue is him living a
somewhat thrilling life.

or my Studio Project II, I chose to work on Sereni & Shentel. Sereni & Shentel is a
brand that offers handmade headbands made in Borneo by a team of artisans. They
offer a wide range of headbands for adults, children, and babies for any occasion.
Sereni & Shentel is all about decoration without explanation. That is the formula
applied to every design produced and the key to the brand’s success.
I have implemented a combination of two concepts for my design, which are color
blocking and cubism. Color blocking has always been a huge trend in fashion. It is
when you pair two to three totally different colors together to convey a bold
statement, which is exactly the tagline I have produced! Be bold! Moreover, it is
also a way to advertise the headbands which are available in all shades of the
rainbow. I included elements of cubism in my design just to spice it up a little.
Basically, my concept is the perfect marriage of fashion and art. Why did I choose
this brand and concept? Simply because I love fashion and colors! Fashion is
something I actively seek happiness from and one way of expressing it is by
dressing in vibrant colors! It brings out my whole personality and instantly
brightens up my mood for the day. Personally, it is a form of self-therapy and I want
other people to be confident in examining and exploring a look that is out of their
comfort zones too. You will definitely stand out from the crowd in Sereni & Shentel.

The concept is groovy retro so that it will attract kids and teenagers.
Not only that it is colorful, but also radiates positive vibes to people.

Troots cafe is a dessert company. The idea of the menu was inspired
by different countries, such as from Korea, Taiwan, and Japan. The
tagline for this company is “Great Dessert, Good Vibes”.
As a designer for this company, I applied minimalist as the main concept
of its design. The minimalist concept was chosen as the target
group of this company are the teenagers. Teenagers nowadays
prefer simple things as they enjoy posting OOTDs on their Instagram
posts. I adopted this technique to attract an audience to this cafe. As
for the chosen color of my design, I went for something that can be
attractive in the eyes of the public, but not so much as the main
attraction of this design is the deliciousness of the dessert. A technique
that I utilized for my print-ads and SMT is an image manipulation.
I manipulated the image using Photoshop.
For the illustration, I just created a collage of the dessert and I digitalized
it on a tote bag inside the Photoshop. For my exhibition
design, I prepared a kiosk for the dessert display.

I worked on Studio Project 2 for our project this time. The company
that I had chosen was 'by Anna Sue', which is a boutique that plans
and provides fashion show services. After several discussions, the
emerged concept was 'Doll'.
I injected some ideas into the concept, particularly butterflies. My
intended meaning is to inform others that everyone can change. 'Doll'
refers to a model who seeks freedom without being controlled by
another. The word "freedom" means being independent, thus our
company wants to spread a sense of independence to all of our
buyers who believe in us.

The Regatta Lepa is an annual festival celebrated by the Bajau Laut.
Regatta Lepa is a water festival that showcases the customs and
traditions of the ‘Sea Gypsies’. The highlights include a floating
parade of colorful lepa boats, lepa boat racing and tug-of-war,
beauty pageant and fireworks.
My concept is Lego; hence, the colorfulness is meant to display the
liveliness of this festival by using the minimalist design combined
with Lego colors. This festival is freely open for everyone as it is a
traditional festival; nevertheless, my target audience are the youths.
Thus, this concept was chosen to make this traditional festival
appealing to people of all ages.

named according to their lot number (72) and their restaurant placed
at Jalan Kapitan, Sri Aman (Simanggang). The concept for this
project is ‘Ultimate and Tasty’ which is to show impact or to attract
customers. The logo designed based on grill shape.

EVENT
KeTAMU stands for "ke tamu" which means to the market. This event
connects everything including music, art, family and friends in one
place. KeTAMU is situated in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and it was founded
by Cynthia Ong, Sue Chong, Stella Tay and Winnie Long. This concept
could be used to attract more audiences, especially the tourist from
other country or Sabahan consumers. The concept of colourful tropical
colour such as red and yellow attract the human eye than the
dark and dull colours like dark brown.

The Victorian Revival is a company that provide local brand products
from around Malaysia. Local brands lover around Malaysia can get
their favourite products at The Victorian Revival. My concept is Indie,
so several colour palettes were represented via Indie concept.
Indie concept is suitable to be used for The Victorian Revival because
the products available in their company represents up to date style
and suitable for the youngsters. Therefore, both genders are
welcomed in The Victorian Revival as the style are in line with
customers' wish.

Turban Fashion Idea is situated at Majma mall based in Kuching
Sarawak. My client for this project is the owner of turban; Aresha.
This turban is ready to wear with their own signature design and it is
suitable for those who likes to travel. The concept for this product is
elegant and defined by the quality of being graceful and stylish in
appearance and manner.
My purpose is to bring enthusiast the simple steps of finding the
perfect turban style and present yourself as an elegant woman. The
black and gold colour depicts the elegance of the turban which is
made of satin fabric.

EVENT
The event is a volunteer-based beach clean-up event organised by
Kuching Beach Cleaners. Beach clean-ups are a simple way to help
with pollution. The ad campaign utilizes more on concepts to spread
awareness of pollution, at the same time, encouraging people to
come and join the event. Visually, the designs follow a clean and minimal
style. The concept centres around death and the decaying
environment caused by plastic pollution.

Ramlyn Cake House is an online based cake house that sells various
kinds of dessert from cakes to cookies. Their best-selling dessert
on their menu is their Kek Lapis. Hence, the concept for this project
was “Sweet and Colourful” . This project where colourful colours and
the sweet taste of kek lapis had been the brand's signature menu.
This company is based in Sabah and their products are natural,and
homemade. The company has now become popular among their
online buyers through various online platforms such as, Facebook,
direct orders through WhatsApp, Shopee and Instagram due to their
authentic homemade recipes.

COMPANY
My client is originally named Noor and Dyg Company and now
rebranded to GrandBlue Diver Company. This is an instructional diving
centre with 14 years of experience. The design concept is a Mysterious
Contingency that comprises elements of ‘mystery’ and ‘adventure’ that
might pique the interest of youths since they have high sense of
curiosity.
The elements in the design were the series of ads, supporting
marketing tools and illustrations. There was the element of fantasy
since fantasy is tied to mystery in some way or another and it’s
mesmerizing.

The company I’m choosing is Warung Serey Wangi. This restaurant specializes
in both Thai and Malay food. But its specialty is “Mi Tarik”, a
noodle made from scratch with soup. The owner of this company is Zulhadi
bin Margidi. He has two businesses, a car wash and a restaurant
both day and night respectively.
The main theme of this restaurant is cultural heritage, which in this
case, Sarawakian culture. The medium that was used for this company
are Print Ads, website, Illustration, SMT and TVC.
