The Elite Standard of Green Mowing -
Jacobsen Introduces the Eclipse 360 ELiTE Lithium Mower
The new Eclipse 360 ELiTE from Jacobsen has been designed to combine the
next generation of ELiTE lithium-ion batteries with a signature cut that has been
trusted for a century.
ELiTE batteries have powered E-Z-GO vehicles for over 15 million hours, and the
E360 ELiTE has adopted that technology to make a mower that can cut 50+
large greens on a single charge.
Noise during operation is reduced to virtual silence, meaning the machine can
cut anywhere early in the morning without disruption. The significant reduction
in noise pollution is combined with zero air pollution with the all-electric model,
while fuel consumption is reduced when cutting with the diesel/gas hybrid.
Jacobsen has a decade’s worth of experience with the Eclipse range, and that
has been reflected in the features of this new machine. The Patented Frequency
of Clip Control ensures a consistent cut every time by linking the reel speed to
the forward speed. By having the reels turning in time with the wheels, you’re
able to keep a consistent frequency of cut regardless of who is mowing but still
have the option to increase it without reducing the mowing speed. This control
is taken further with individual unit control that can adapt the cutting
configuration to vary wheel runs and truly eliminate triplex ring.
Attention has also been paid to the access and maintenance aspects of the
machine. The unique swing-out center cutting unit has been retained for quick
and easy cleaning, maintenance, or swapping the unit.

of a lynchpin that is then used
to hold the unit in the
swung-out position.
All of these changes were
made following a 360-
durability review that has also
included the addition of new
brushless lift actuators that
have ten times the lifespan of
the previous option.
Seven, nine, eleven, or
fifteen blade reels are available
for the E360 ELiTE to allow for
varied applications of the
machine from golf greens and
tees to sports fields and
ornamental gardens.

Ransomes Launch the new MT Series -
MT383 Commercial Ride-On Cylinder Mower 3
Leading commercial and municipal mower manufacturer Ransomes has
launched the new MT Series of mowers, starting with the MT383 commercial
ride-on triple cylinder mower.
The new series of machines has been developed as a direct replacement for the
highly popular and successful Parkway range that has been synonymous with
Ransomes and commercial cylinder mowing for over 25-years.
Ransomes Product Manager Lee Kristensen and his team have taken this as an
opportunity to provide users with a mower that meets the demands of modern
commercial cylinder mowing, with a machine that provides enhanced operator
comfort, productivity and Ransomes highly regarded quality of cut.
"Ransomes has a great history in commercial mowing with the Parkway range,
and our opportunity here was to provide operators with a series of heavy-duty
triplex machines, starting with the MT383, that meet the demands of modern
commercial mowing," Lee begins. “Cylinder mowing remains the more efficient
way to cut grass and maximise maintenance work done with the available
power.
"We know users have longer cut cycles and need to cut for longer, and they
need to be comfortable when they are doing it. That is why we utilised the
platform from our MP range. When we launched the MP platform, we took into
account long days mowing, and we worked to provide a platform for a happy
and fatigue-free operator, which we achieved. We've had operators who use
the MP platform say it doesn't feel like work, and that's what we wanted to
bring to the MT series.
"You're sat on an ISO-mounted platform on a mechanical suspension seat, and
all of the controls are at your fingertips, and they all contribute to making a big
difference. And operators who have been using the Parkway range will really
notice that.
"Comfortable operators will be the most productive, but we wanted to do even
more to increase their uptime. That includes the reversing cooling fan that can
be operated on an automatic timer or the touch of a button to clear the air
intakes and keep the machine cool on those hot summer days.
"Ease of access to the engine compartment has been improved significantly for
both daily checks and servicing. We have added easily removable side panels
and used external filters so maintenance can be done quickly
and efficiently.
"In terms of the engine itself, we know a lot of commercial
and municipal operators have a high environmental
consideration when choosing machinery. That made
it very important to us to provide the MT383 with a
Stage V 37.5 HP Kubota clean-running engine."

Boomer Bound!
The New Holland Boomer Range is a firm favorite of amongst Councils, Golf
Courses, Equestrian Centres and Large Estates, Orchards and Small holdings.
With the range covering 5 models, there is a boomer for every application.
The Boomer 25 has a three cylinder engine with 23Hp or 27hp with a
hydrostatic transmission. The Boomer 35 have a four cylnder engine with 38hp
available in hydrostatic or syncromesh transmission. Boomer 40, 50 and 55 also
have a four cylinder engine with a 40hp, 52hp and 57hp available in
hydrostatic EZ speed or syncromesh transmission and the option of creeper.
These also come with a auto cut off P.T.O.
The Boomer 35-55 can be fitted with mid-mounted PTO and have the joystick
control if required.
The Boomer range is available with either ROPS or CAB (Excluding Boomer 25 )
Adding a loader to the boomer increases its lifting capacity. The Boomer 25 has
a 650kg lift capacity, while the Boomer 35 has a huge 820kg lift capacity. The
Boomer 40 and 50 have a hefty lift capacity of 1,250kg.

RMX G2 sets its self apart from other
roller mowers?
The new Wessex RMX G2 roller mower has set its self apart from other roller

The G2 roller mower has proven to produce the finest cut quality on the market
in all weather conditions. With tractor horsepower always being considered
a deciding factor when purchasing a roller mower, the RMX G2 requires only
60hp. When fitted with largest wheels and tyres, the Wessex RMX G2 ensures
minimal ground compaction while cutting turf. With the new design of the
RMX G2, Wessex have made sure it has one of the narrowest transport widths

Iseki release stage V
engines in TH series
Turney Groundcare have been ISEKI dealers since 2000. Having the introduction of the new
Stage V engine emission regulations, ISEKI has taken the opportunity to introduce new
models to their range of compact tractors, renowned for their build quality and
reliability. Designed and built in Japan, the tractors are powered by ISEKI built engines
from 19hp up to 67hp.
ISEKI recently launched TH5420 and TH5370 models are powered by the new ISKEI Stage V
engines producing either 40hp or 35hp respectively. These engines produce more
horsepower and torque than the previous models whilst being smoother, quieter, and
more economical in operation. Available with either ROPS or a spacious air-conditioned
cab – very quiet at only 78dB – the new TH5 tractors are compact but powerful capable of
lifting 1200kg with the rear 3-point linkage and powering implements with the two speed
rear PTO. The mid-PTO can be used for a mid-mounted mower deck or can be used with
the optional front hitch and PTO to drive implements such as a brush or front mounted
mower deck.
The three-range hydrostatic transmission has memory cruise control as standard plus
response control which enables the transmission to be tailored to the task in hand. ISEKI
MX C3/C3+ loaders are available for the TH5 tractors increasing their versatility with cab
model having a joystick control and valve outlets as standard. Smaller tractors in the ISEKI
compact family include the 19hp-25hp TM range, with mid and rear PTOs, a comfortable
operator’s platform and the option of ISEKI MX front loaders. For use in space restricted
areas, the subcompact TXGS24 with HST transmission is a very useful machine. Both of
these ranges are Stage V compliant but do not need emission control equipment such as
DPFs due to their engines being below 25hp.
If a larger tractor is required for use on larger sites or heavier/wider aerators etc, the new
TG6 range has also been launched, featuring ISEKI Stage V engines from 40hp to 67hp,
with three types of transmission depending upon horsepower – F24/R24 IQ dual-clutch,
Hydrostatic with 3 ranges and hi-lo in each range or Mechanical F12/R12. Model
dependent the 3-point linkage will lift up to 1500 kg 24 inches behind the link ends. The
spacious air-conditioned cabs are Category 2 rated to protect against dust. All models have
loader joysticks and valve blocks as standard and can be fitted with ISEKI MX C3/C3+ or C4/
C4+ (model dependent) loaders and implements.

Scarifing at its best
The TM 1000 is a 3 point linkage tractor driven combined scarifier and linear
aeration machine, with large capacity manual collecting tipping box.
This machine is used on virtually all outdoor sports, large lawns, and by local
authority contractors. It’s working width is 1 metre (40 ins), and has a working
depth of 50ml (2ins). The minimum tractor power requirement for this machine is
20hp.
This machine is especially designed with a choice of 5 quick release,
interchangeable reels, to aid the removal of thatch, and help reduce standing
surface water. The features of this machine include :
