After finishing Titus Project, I taught

an overview of the Bible in my home

church just as I'd been doing on

outreach. I was wondering how my

(western, conservative) church would

respond to such an interactive,

creative, yet in some ways basic

teaching. The reaction was amazing!

Many people finally understood the

big picture of the different stories in

the Bible. It was super helpful! A few

months after, the pastor told me that

my teaching still gets mentioned

sometimes!

I've been teaching in many YWAM

training courses since completing

Titus Project. I have had the privilege

to introduce the inductive method a

number of times. I still enjoy it so

much! I love to see the students

working hard and and slowly getting

a hang of the inductive method! God

has worked in many student's hearts

through the inductive Bible study

method and I'm honored to have

been equipped by Titus Project about

how to teach that.

My personal highlight was

definitely meeting my husband in

Titus Project!

Our (I say our because I was lucky enough to

be a part of Titus Project along with my

family) experience with Titus Project was

really a dream come true. Being able to be

trained in teaching about the Bible and then

go out and teach through the Titus Project

was something my wife and I had been

dreaming about for years. And then Titus

Project came to us! At the time we were a

part of YWAM Hurlach in Germany and were

trying to figure out how we would go

wherever Titus Project training was available

and how we would do that with our young

family (our daughters were 2 years and 3

months old at the time). But then, the Titus

Europe team came to run their training

phase at the campus in Hurlach and we were

able, with the help of wonderful babysitters,

to complete the training and head out to

Ukraine for outreach

I always think of is the time that we led

an outreach to work with refugees in

Athens, Greece. We taught for 6-weeks

that included Bible Overview and deep

dives into how to study the Bible through

the book of John. It was incredible to see

how our small team, through many

difficult challenges, were able to be a

blessing there. Our family was also deeply

blessed by the volunteer staff at the

church where we lived and served for

those six weeks. The way they loved our

children and became a part of our family

for that time will never be forgotten.

We are now serving in Turner Valley

Canada with YWAM, still teaching to

many young people how to study

inductively.

Would you

recommend to

others to

participate in

Titus Project?

Sarah Titus Sweden 2010

Absolutely!

For me, the TItus project was very

important in growing as a teacher

and a leader. I knew I wanted to

preach and teach and the Titus

Project gave me tools and an overall

understanding of the heart of

teaching. I still now, 10 years later,

use tools and ideas from Titus Project

in my teaching and preaching today.

You really learn something once you

teach someone else how to do it, and

Titus project is all about equipping

others and passing on what you have

been given! In SBS you are given a

most precious gift of studying the

Word, it would be a waste not to pass

it on.
