chance for Cantabrians to explore the Christchurch, Selwyn<br />
and Waimakariri regions with more than 50 walks on offer.<br />

of the river, efforts to improve water quality and the impacts of<br />

<strong>The</strong> biggest pumpkin festival in NZ. <strong>The</strong> annual event attracts<br />
competitors from all over the South Island, competing for<br />
prizes. <strong>The</strong> blue ribbon category features a $250 prize for the<br />
heaviest pumpkin. Entertainment includes live music and<br />
dance, children’s races and events, sideshows and a scarecrow<br />
