What Makes Me Feel Well?<br />

It’s making a thing that makes my heart<br />

sing.<br />

My MO, I’ll tell, at procrastination I excel–<br />

But when I sit down, and a project I start,<br />

‘Tis the best cardio you can do for your<br />

heart.<br />

Something creative, something that’s<br />

fun.<br />

A sweater, a painting, a cinnamon bun.<br />

Knitting, sewing, drawing – the lot!<br />

Some cooking, scrapbooking, it just<br />

doesn’t stop.<br />

Coffee all day, and lots of self-care,<br />

And I’ll suggest, if I may, frequent fresh<br />

air.<br />

Don’t waste life cleaning, don’t worry<br />

‘bout dust,<br />

Friends’ and familys’ love is the absolute<br />

must.<br />

Community<br />

Wander - walk, jog, cycle, climb,<br />

exercise your body, seek to<br />

understand nature.<br />

Educate - learn a skill, study history,<br />

exercise your brain, seek to<br />

understand others.<br />

Lead - set good examples, share<br />

knowledge, seek to challenge.<br />

Laugh - keep perspective, socialize and<br />

celebrate, seek to find lightness.<br />

Nest - make and keep a home, seek to<br />

nurture and rejuvenate.<br />

Engage - be productive in your work,<br />

seek to add value.<br />

Serve - be a help to others, seek your<br />

place in community.<br />

Share - give to receive, exercise your<br />

soul, seek selflessness.<br />
