At the heart of the new Continental GT sits an allnew,
enhanced version of Bentley’s renowned 6.0-litre,
twin-turbocharged W12 TSI engine, mated, for
the first time, to a dual-clutch eight-speed transmission,
for faster, more efficient gear changes.
A new, technically advanced, adaptive chassis uses
Bentley’s intelligent
48-volt Dynamic Ride System to ensure a responsive
ride and exceptional handling and refinement
in all road conditions. The new system controls
ride comfort and lateral roll, cushioning passengers
from excessive movement as well as making the car
feel effortlessly precise.
The muscular exterior design, created using revolutionary
technology, results in a lightweight,
yet stiff, body. The engine is positioned
further back to improve
weight
distribution, resulting in driver-focused, dynamic
performance.
Offering four seats and improved luggage capacity
for genuine real-world usability, the new Bentley
Continental GT’s luxurious cabin is packed with ex-

The Knight Frank World Wealth Report 2017 re-
ports the world’s super-wealthy spend over USD
2.4bn on second citizenship each year, with most
demand coming from China, the Middle East, and Rus-
sia.
Immigration amongst high-net-worth individuals is
‘strong and growing’, the report notes. Indeed, some of
the world’s most affluent businesspeople are choosing
to migrate to other countries and/or adopt second citi-
zenship.
But why do high-net-worth individuals find second cit-
izenship so attractive? Is citizenship-by-investment re-
ally the best use of your money?
Let’s look at the top reasons for wealthy investors choos-
ing second citizenship, and explore the programmes
that prove most attractive.
Why do so many high-net-worth individuals opt for
second citizenship?
While every investor we talk to is different, everyone
shares some common hopes and fears:
Stability, safety and security: Global forced displace-
ment is the highest it’s been for decades. Second citi-
zenship is an insurance policy against this sort of up-

green card – allows you to secure permanent US resi-

When it comes to turning natural
materials into something eye-wateringly
lavish and beautiful, for
Nature Squared the sky is the limit.
They use everything from seashell
and bone and horn to seedpods,
bamboo and eggshell to create
their bespoke designs. All are humble
natural materials in themselves,
which are transformed into unique
high quality surfaces when set within
resins or lacquer. Designs can be
uniquely customised to the clients_’
_own specifications, demonstrated
so beautifully in the 1500m2 of fully
customised product they recently
installed into the worlds largest private
yacht.
Launched in 2000 by Paul Hoeve
and Lay Koon Tan, Nature Squared
was originally created to provide
meaningful, sustainable employ-
ment in developing countries. At a
time of rampant globalisation, the
partners wanted to create a firm
that went back to basics, using tra-
ditional artisanal skills rather than
the mass production that saturated
the market around them. They nev-
er expected the business to grow in
such a phenomenal way, but sixteen
years on they still pride themselves
on the holistic ethos that made them
launch the brand in the first place.
As such, many of the natural materi-
als Nature Squared use are by-prod-
ucts from other industries like fishing
and farming. For example, abalone
shells are sourced from a commu-
nity-based farm in Asia, eggshells
come from hatcheries, mussel shells
from a farm to name but a few. This
is just one way in which the compa-
ny proves that sustainability is at its
heart.
They never use natural materials that
are endangered, protected or threat-
ened or that cannot be found in
abundance in their natural environ-
ment. To this end they ensure none
of their materials are on the CITES
list (the Convention on Internation-
al Trade in Endangered Species of
Wild Forna and Fauna) and if they
suspect that a material not found on
the CITES list has been sourced un-
ethically like poaching abalone or
shagreen they won’t use it in their
designs
They even go as far as to encourage
clients to ship their creations by sea
freight rather than by plane to cut
down on their own carbon footprint.
Furthermore, Nature Squared’s designs
are also all made in their own
premises in the Philippines, allow-
ing local artisan craftsmen to sup-
port themselves and provide a better
future for their families.
With the unprecedented success,
Nature Squared has enjoyed whilst
maintaining its ethical credentials,
now seems the perfect time for them
to step out of the shadows and into

The Luxury Network Germany Luxury Sports
Car Spring Drive to Wine Street
On the 20th of May The Luxury Network Ger-
many started its outdoor event program this
year with an exclusive luxury sports car drive
from Frankfurt, through the palatinate forest to the
German Wine Street. The participants enjoyed scenic
twisting roads, gorgeous natural landscapes, unique
locations and culinary specialties.
15 luxury sports cars participated at this very spe-
cial driving experience and lifestyle event. The fleet
included several Aston Martins (e.g. Vantage V8 &
V12S), Ferraris (e.g. California T & T HS), Maserati
GTS, Porsches (e.g. 911 Turbo, GTS, GT3), McLarens
(570S & 570S Spider), Audi R8 V10 plus and a Lambo-
rghini Huracán Performante.
This one day driving experience started with a gourmet
lunch at “GUT LEBEN am Morstein”, an unique architectural
and culinary treasure, including a gourmet
restaurant, boutique hotel and unique meeting facilities.
After 3 years of renovation this heritage compound,
including the 1899 build Villa Keller and the
Trappischen Hof, with its historical wine cellars from
the 15th century, just recently opened its doors to the
public. Chef Peter Kubach and Sous Chef Bernd Witte
worked in many Michelin star restaurants globally.
The relaxing lunch was followed by a several hour
long drive on small winding roads through the palatinate
forest. Highlight was a 10 mile long single-lane
mountain road, flanked by old pine- and oak-trees,
passing steep bluffs and ending at the Haardt-Peak,
offering a stunning view over the Rhine-Valley to-

wards the Heidelberg Castle.
This wonderful road trip ended with a sundown experience
at ARTRIUM Holz-Weisbrodt, the hot spot
of the German Wine Street. World-class wine combined
with a gorgeous location was the perfect end
to a perfect day. The Luxury Network guests got re-
served front door private parking as well as their own
VIP lounge area, where champagne, wine and delicious
food was served.
The Luxury Network Germany member Dörr Group
additionally offered test drives with the newest mod-
els of McLaren and Lamborghini.

Fares Ghattas Named as Head of
Diplomatic Council in the Middle East
The Diplomatic Council is
expanding its activities to
the Middle East and H.E.
Fares Ghattas, the Global CEO of
The Luxury Network International,
has been named Head of the
Middle East launch.
He has developed thousands of
strategies for many luxury companies
and built an international
HQ team specialized in high-end
areas such as: finance, motorsport,
nautical, health and beauty,
aviation, real estate, travel, jewellery
and watches, entertain-
ment and fashion, among oth-
ers. Q-Business Magazine called
his work “brilliant and one of the
most interesting people working
in the luxury business”.
Fares Ghattas graduated from the
Lebanese American University
with a degree in business man-
agement, then he took control of
his father’s real estate construc-
tion firm and changed the compa-
ny name to FG Realty and shifted
its focus to real estate brokerage
and property management.
He then travelled from Beirut to
Qatar in 2005 where he became
well known for selling and renting
luxury real estate and his love for
luxury started. Fares is the CEO of
FG Realty with offices operating
in Lebanon and Qatar.
In 2016, Fares Ghattas was hon-
oured by IIMSAM the intergov-
ernmental observer to the Unit-
ed Nations Economic & social
council the title of goodwill am-
bassador due to his fundraising/
philanthropic acts, and interest in

From the last 2nd to 14th May, Peroni Sunset
Cinema’s inaugural edition was an unprece-
dented success.
It seems that the relationship between Singapore
island, Sentosa, and Peroni must have been born
under an auspicious star. Indeed, the Italian beer
brand, a The luxury Network’s member, was al-
ready partnering with the Singapore Yacht Show
last April.
Last month, this open-air cinema gave the guests
the opportunity to enjoy new release films in a re-
laxed, yet refined ambiance. Thanks to wireless
headphones, which every customer is issued upon
entry, every attendee was able to be plunged into

the film atmosphere, toes in the sand, without being
