SUITES AT ROCCO FORTE HOTELS GERMANY
Finding the golden alchemy of comfort,
character and creativity is every interior
designer’s greatest challenge: Deputy
Chairman and Director of Design at Rocco
Forte Hotels, Olga Polizzi keeps her finger
on the pulse of design trends, while carefully
considering the history and culture of each
hotel’s location when creating new suites
for Rocco Forte Hotels: “Design is integral
to our hotels. Good hotel design should
be comfortable, practical and memorable.
Each of our hotels has its own identity; I
always start with the location and the style
of the building for inspiration. High quality
craftsmanship is essential, as are the local
artists and builders who share our passion for
attention to the details that really matter.”,
Olga Polizzi explains.
New Suites pay homage to the Kennedy
era of ellegance:
In 2018 Olga Polizzi created four new
Signature Suites for Villa Kennedy in
Frankfurt. Each suite, named and designed
after an iconic figure from the 1960s: Jackie
O, Audrey Hepburn, Marlene Dietrich
and Marilyn Monroe. The design portrays
their individual identities throughout the
interior that is reminiscent of the Kennedy
era – timeless and elegant like Jackie, striking
and classic like JFK. Designed with John F.
Kennedy’s 1963 visit to Frankfurt in mind,
Olga Polizzi has used her inimitable taste to
select and bring together unique and local
pieces from renowned German artisans to
give each suite character and charm while
creating a sense of place; an idea which
is intrinsic to the Rocco Forte Hotels
design ethos.
