WELCOME TO <strong>TECH</strong><br />
The <strong>MBP</strong>| <strong>TECH</strong> range is our own exclusive range of<br />
ceramic materials designed and manufactured in Italy.<br />
Specifically used for kitchens, bathrooms, and wall<br />
cladding, the pattern seen on the face of the material is<br />
created using super-high-definition printers. The<br />
benefits of using a printed surface are its repeatability<br />
and there are no natural material defects or undesirable<br />
natural markings. Varying by material, our ceramics<br />
come in a polished or satin finish to create a truly<br />
bespoke look for the customer.<br />

BOOK-MATCHING<br />
One of the huge advantages of opting for a ceramic<br />
product such as worktops, splashbacks, or wall<br />
cladding, is the ability to create stunning bookmatches.<br />
Book-matching is where two mirror-imaged pieces of<br />
ceramic are placed together to create something like<br />
what is shown here.<br />
The consistency of the ceramic pattern printing allows<br />
for a "perfectly symmetrical" book-match, something<br />
that isn't achievable with natural stone due to its natural<br />
variations from slab to slab. With ceramics, the material<br />
patterning is more likely to line up and give better<br />
symmetry.<br />
Though the book-matching of ceramics are usually<br />
more accurate than natural stone, the match is subject<br />
to material tolerances in the slab print and in some<br />
instances, not every area of patterning will line up<br />
perfectly.

We’ve developed the way we operate to make it easier for our customers<br />
to do business with us. Our quotation and order process is quick and easy<br />
to manage from the office or on the go. We specialise in a vast array of<br />
material options to support customer needs whilst continuously<br />
developing our offering to ensure customers have on-trend products at<br />
the right time. Everything we do is with our customer in mind.
PORTAL<br />
In early 2020 we launched our online trade portal. Two years of development, supported by 30 years of expertise and know-how<br />
resulted in a portal which provides our customers with a tool to help them offer their customer more. The underpinning ethos of the<br />
portal is to continuously and reliably support our customers.<br />
The portal offers an in-depth review of our collections, including images of slabs, installed worktops and technical guidelines,<br />
designed to help clients make an informed work surface decision.<br />
The portal also enables us to train our customers, allowing them to pass their knowledge onto clients, instilling trust in the products<br />
and services the end-user is purchasing.
ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES<br />
The work surface industry relies heavily on our planet,<br />
from natural marbles and granites to the mineral<br />
ingredients used to produce the man-made products<br />
we supply. We are very conscious of our environmental<br />
impact and focus on ways to reduce it.<br />
Our waste stone, roughly 2000 tonnes per year, is<br />
crushed and recycled for use in the construction industry.<br />
Our 270,000 sq ft facility is heated solely by low carbon,<br />
renewable biomass heating systems. The water used<br />
in our factory is continuously cleaned and recycled to<br />
ensure we never draw from the local water supply.<br />
We continue to search for new and innovative ways to<br />
lessen our impact and protect the planet which has<br />
given us so much.
