Enjoy a fascinating

the area, Sudeley Castle has
played an important role in
England’s history, boasting
royal connections that stretch
back over 1,000 years.
Visitors can walk in the footsteps
of past kings and queens
including Richard III, Henry VIII,
Elizabeth I and Lady Jane Grey. It
is also the only private castle in
England to have a queen buried
within its grounds - Katherine Parr,
the last of Henry VIII’s six wives.
Stroll through 10 beautiful gardens,
visit the rare-breeds pheasantry
and children will love to play in the
Adventure Playground, featuring
a huge fun fort, 10-piece obstacle
course, zip wire and swings.
Visit by 6 June to see the Elephant
Family, proudly on display
throughout the grounds. Witness
the start of the world’s greatest
Elephant migration with over 30
life-sized elephant sculptures
to spot throughout the grounds
before they move to London’s
Royal Parks in the summer, and
beyond on their global mission.
Sudeley Castle is located only
eight miles from Cheltenham.
