'Wired Open Labs' 2021 Winter Workshop Series
Welcome to the Winter edition of the 2021 WIRED OPEN LABS workshop series. The Wired Open Labs series is now in its fifth year, and despite the immense disruptions we have all experienced recently, we are thrilled to be continuing our provision of access to unique creative experiences with outstanding Australian artists and artisans. This year's workshop program will be released seasonally with the Winter series spanning 3 months from June through to August. The Winter season has workshops to suit every creative appetite from beginner dabblers, through to green thumbs, DIY’ers and experienced creatives. At each workshop you will learn new skills, whilst meeting like-minded people, and enjoying delicious snacks and refreshments. The Wired Lab is a not-for-profit company and registered charity, your support of our workshop programs contributes towards our mission to provide a range of community and cultural development opportunities for regional communities.

analysing your posts to refine your audience.
■ Using Hashtags to target the audience
you want and that want you.
■ External apps to help you make decisions
and make things look great.
■ Partnerships and Influencers, who do you
want and how do you get them.

In this 4 hour workshop you will learn:
■ How to compose, frame and capture the
best landscape photos;
■ Use of time of day, and incidental objects
to create maximum interest;
■ Which camera states and D-SLR settings
best suit landscape photography; and
■ How to use editing software for
maximum benefit.

Participants will take home lots of practical
how-to tips on the business of social
media and what it can do for you.
An ideal workshop for small and/or startup
businesses operating from a regional
setting, and suited to beginners through to
those experienced with social media.
Please bring your smartphone, or the device
best used to upload to your social media
profiles.

Throughout the workshop each attendee will
have the chance to put into practice what
they learn and discuss their results with
David and fellow participants.
Introductory class suitable for beginners
and enthusiastic amateur photographers.
Please bring a digital SLR camera you are
familiar with. A smart phone with a highquality
camera is also recommended.
