Oil Reservoir
Designed with a nitrogen-charged return system, this
series product has a very high energy absorption
capacity for single shocks, particularly suitable for
safety stops of large or super large equipment. Heavy
Industry buffers are widely used in cranes, rail equipment,
elevators, cable cars, steel industry, coal, railway,
amusement parks and other fields. Large bore
and high energy capacity design ensures reliable energy
absorption capacity and long service life.
This type of buffers is particularly suitable for protection/
safety applications. Another advantage is the stable
performance during long stand-by time.
Heavy Duty Buffers
FP series
Overview
The design of FP series comes with internal air accumulator
with compact structure. A very smooth damping force
with high energy absorption capacity is provided by this
product series. It has been designed for a wide variety of
stroke lengths with super long working life, and often is
used in automated storages, rail equipment, trolley cranes,
automatic production lines which have high requirements
for deceleration and smooth damping force. For optimized
orifice configuration, computer generated output
performance simulation is used. Available in standard
bore dimensions of up to 200 mm and strokes over
1524 mm. Available in the latest model with galvanized
surface finish for enhanced corrosion resistance.
Features and Benefits:
• Designed with environmentally friendly materials and fluids
• Compact design, decelerates smoothly and safely, large energy capacity loads up to 330,000 Nm per cycle
• Internal charged air/oil accumulator replaces mechanical return springs, providing shorter overall length and reduced
weight
• Painted external components provide excellent corrosion protection
• All sizes are fully field repairable
Options:
• Bladder Accumulator (BA) for higher cycle rates
• Protective bellows
• Clevis mounts
• Safety cables
• Galvanized surface finish for better corrosion resistance
• Epoxy painting and special rod materials for use in highly
corrosive environments
• Piston rod extension sensor systems
• Extension of standard operating temperature range from
(-10 °C to 60 °C) to (-35 °C to 100 °C) thanks to optional fluids and
seal packages
