Kelvin has a new lease on life

For Merrylands resident, Kelvin
Gadd (pictured), using his mobility
scooter is part of everyday life.
He says he loves being out and about,
but having health conditions that
prevent him from doing so unassisted,
means having a reliable scooter is critical.
Mr Gadd had been out of action for
months when his scooter needed to
be repaired, as despite being under
warranty, he was told he would have to
send it to Queensland to be serviced.
That’s when he met local man, Sam
Chidiac, who owns MCS Mobility in
Merrylands and says he’s never looked
back since.
“Sam has really changed everything for
me; he goes above and beyond to service
my scooter and ensures it’s repaired
quickly and returned to me on the same
day,” he said.
“Having a reliable scooter is truly a
God-send and so is Sam in ensuring
mine is always running smoothly.”
Mr Gadd said he uses the scooter daily
and has done 8000kms in the past 12
months.
“I love to be out and about and the
thought of not having my scooter for
months on end for repairs would be very
isolating for me,” he said.
