Huron-Perth Centre for Children & Youth<br />

Direct Service Provider<br />

Huron-Perth Centre for Children and Youth is the lead<br />

Agency for Child & Youth Mental Health in Huron and<br />

Perth Counties.<br />

Specific Services:<br />

Access to service is a simple call to any office; youth over<br />

12 may access services on their own although parental<br />

involvement is always considered. Services include:<br />

Assessment and treatment services for children and<br />

youth and their families for a broad range of child<br />

and youth mental health concerns<br />

dd<br />

School-based Outreach for designated schools<br />

through purchase of service agreements with both<br />

school boards<br />

dd<br />

A range of services for youth in the justice system<br />

dd<br />

Violence Against Women–Supportive Counselling<br />

(Huron only)<br />

dd<br />

Partner Assault Response–Group Counselling for<br />

individuals charged with domestic violence<br />

Service Integration:<br />

All services provided in collaboration with other relevant<br />

service providers, with client consent. This includes but is<br />

not limited to: schools, family doctors/family health teams,<br />

children’s aid society, other community partners.<br />
