Entries close August 6th. Each exhibitor must purchase an exhibitor’s ticket, price of $25.00
when making entry. Exhibits must be in place no later than 7:00 pm on Tuesday of the Fair.
Judging will be held on Wednesday of the Fair at 9:00 am. No exhibit may be removed before
6:00 pm Sunday of the Fair. All articles must be the work of the exhibitor, must be made
within the last two years and should NOT show any signs of wear. Only articles which have
never been entered before will be accepted.
Attach slacks or skirts on a hanger with clip clothes pins. All entry tags MUST be attached
to the garments, pinned with safety pin on RIGHT shoulder of the garment.
Garments will be judged according to this outline:
I. DESIGN
Suitability of purpose, individuality and styles.
II. MATERIAL
(Texture, color and design of material including trimmings.)
Suitability to purpose and to design, durability and economic aspects, cleaning
qualities.
III. WORKMANSHIP
Choice, durability and neatness of construction; perfection of hand and
machine stitching, pressing (for knitted and crocheted articles, evenness and
perfection of stitches, joinings and blockings are considered)
Exhibitor may not enter more than one item per listed number.
