ICE CREAM SOCIAL FOR BEN AND MELODY BLOKER
An ice cream social will be held at noon on Sunday, July
11 at the Downtown Campus to meet and greet Ben and
Melody Bloker from Soldier’s Hospitality House and to learn
more about their ministry. The Soldier’s Hospitality House is
the mission that First Church supports on the national level.
JULY 11, ROOTS
All rising 5 - 7th graders are invited to a Roots summer event at the Rt. 8 Campus
from 6 - 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 11. The focus of the evening, besides fun, will be
giftedness.

(check people in) at any of the First Church spaces during the Covid 19 pandemic.

ANNUAL MEALS ON WHEELS DESSERT COLLECTION
Our annual collection of desserts for Meals On Wheels is at all services on the
weekend of August 14 and 15. This is a great chance to bake your favorite
cookies, brownies, cakes, pies, breads, etc.to share with others.
Help us by following these guidelines:
• NO gooey icings or nuts. (You can slice a cake in half and put icing
between the layers or fill the center of cupcakes.)
• Diabetic desserts are appreciated.
• Use disposable pans.
• Wrap and label the dessert in freezer paper or freezer bags.
Monetary donations are also a great way to give. Make checks payable
to Butler Meals on Wheels.
