The BPP online course offers the following learning tools which will enhance the learning experience and will help
students succeed in their professional exams:

Mode of Delivery of TQUK Courses
The School of Professional Studies (SPS) of European University Cyprus in Limassol offers evening (part-time) and
live online block release courses (BRCs) leading to the TQUK exams.
OUR PART-TIME, EVENING COURSES
Usually commence in the 3rd week of January (for the June exams) and in the 3rd
week of July (for the December exams) and
Are usually taught on a weekly basis (1-2 times per week), 6:15 - 9:15 pm.
Occasionally, Saturday classes might be held from 9:00 am - to 2:00 pm or 3:00 pm
(specific details for each course are provided on the timetable)
OUR BLOCK-RELEASE COURSES (AVILABLE AT NICOSIA CAMPUS)
Usually commence late February (for the June exams) and early August
(for the December exams)
These intensive courses are implemented between four to six phases depending on
the subject:
- 3 to 5 teaching phases (usually Friday and Saturday) which are held every 3 weeks
- 1 revision phase (spread over 3 to 4 separate weeks thus allowing students adequate
time to revise the material)
Hybrid tuition: where the classroom mode of delivery applies, the HYBRID model is used. When students are
unable to join face-to-face classes, the hybrid mode allows them to attend in a synchronous manner online.
The recordings will be made available to the students to watch in their own time as follows:
- Recordings for taught phase classes will be available for two weeks after each class
- Recordings for revision phase classes will be available until the exam date

DON’T PASS DON’T PAY SCHEME
This Scheme allows TQUK students who have taken a paper at the SPS to attend entirely free of charge the same
course in the next semester in the unlikely event of being unsuccessful, provided they meet the following conditions:
1 At least 90% attendance
2 At least 35% on each progress test and the final mock exam
3
All tests and the mock exam were attended on the SPS premises,
on the scheduled date
TESTS AND MOCK EXAMS
Conditions permitting, tests and mocks will take place at the College’s premises, under invigilation. Otherwise,
alternative arrangements will be made.
Students to be eligible to take the final exam must attempt both the test and the mock exams and must also attend
at least 90% of the classes.

EARLY SETTLEMENT DISCOUNT
SPS offers a 10% early settlement discount if fees are settled by 31/07/2023. Students already benefiting from
other discounts can only benefit from an additional 5% early settlement discount (full settlement by 30/09/2023).
OUT OF CITY DISCOUNT
Τhe SPS offers an out of city discount of 20% to students who reside in other districts and attend physically the
classes in Limassol (conditions apply).

Financial Aid and Flexible Payment Terms
The School of Professional Studies is sensitive to students’ financial challenges and needs. For this reason, we
offer various financial aid discounts and flexible payment terms to our students.
FINANCIAL AID
Students with financial need can apply for reduction of fees by completing the relevant financial aid application
form and submitting it to the SPS along with all supporting documentation. All applications for financial aid are
carefully and confidentially reviewed by the relevant committee and the student is then informed of the percentage
that the fees will be reduced. Financial aid is offered to students with families with low income, single parent
families, large families etc.
FLEXIBLE PAYMENT TERMS
All students are entitled to flexible payment terms. The course fee is settled in five equal monthly installments, due
at the end of each month (31/07,31/08,30/09,31/10,30/11).
Students who do not complete the course will be charged on a pro-rata basis, based on the date of the
ubmitted drop form.

Dr. Efstathiades Andreas BEng, MPhil, PhD
BT Course
Dr. Andreas Efstathiades holds a BEng (Hons) degree from Engineering Council (UK)
and MPhil and PhD degrees in Management from the United Kingdom. He is currently a
Professor and the MBA Program Coordinator at the European University Cyprus. He is
an experienced consultant in Business Planning and Human Resources Development.
Therefore he can relate theory to real life examples. Andreas is an experienced trainer
with over 20 years of experience teaching Professional and ACCA courses. His area of
specialization is strategic and operations management.
Antoniou Chara, BA, MA
MA Evening Course
PM Evening Course
Chara has been teaching ACCA and FIA (CAT) papers since 2000. She specializes
in Management Accounting and Performance Management. Chara’s academic
qualifications, coupled with her extensive work experience, allow her to relate
theory with practice. Chara believes that students must understand the substance
of the subject in order to pass their ACCA exams. In an effort to help students to
concentrate on the most important elements of the syllabus, Chara has prepared her
own notes, which enable students to better comprehend the material.

Kyriacou Andreas, BSc, MSc, ACCA
FA Evening Course
Andreas has earned his BSc in Accounting and Finance from Greece and his MSc in
Accounting, Finance and Management from the United Kingdom. He then went on to
join one of the big four firms in Cyprus where he has earned his ACCA qualification.
Andreas has acquired substantial experience in the field of auditing. He has worked
with many international and local companies across many different industries. His
professional experience, coupled with his academic and professional studies, have
helped Andreas develop specialized knowledge on Accounting and particularly on
IFRS. Andreas has developed his own set of notes to help students comprehend the
FA (F3) material better.

Raouna Claire, BSc, ACA, BFP
TX (CY) Evening Course
Claire is an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) and Business Finance Professional
(BFP) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). She
has a BSc (Honours) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Leeds and
a MSc in Education, Leadership and Management from the Cyprus International
Institute of Management (CIIM). Through her academic and professional studies,
she has built a solid background in the relevant areas. Following more than five
years of experience in one of the Big Four firms in Cyprus, she is currently working
as Financial Controller for a private group of companies. This allows her not only to
apply theory into practice, but also to enhance knowledge from real work experience.
Adding to her skills and expertise, she has experience as ACCA/TQUK tutor and as
facilitator of seminars to other professionals.
Kythreotou Maria BA (Hons), FCCA
TX (CY) Block Release Course
Maria is a qualified accountant (FCCA) with a BA (Hons) degree in Economics from
the UK. She has been teaching professional courses, ACCA and ICAEW, in Cyprus
and abroad for more than 20 years. Her areas of specialization are Taxation, Financial
Accounting and Management Accounting. Maria has earned a lot of experience
working in one of the Big Four firms and in the industry holding the position of
financial controller. Maria also teaches courses leading to the ICAEW qualification
at SPS.
Patzinakos Christos, BSc, ACA
FR Evening Course
Christos is a qualified chartered accountant and holds a Bachelor’s degree in
Accounting and Finance from the University of Warwick. He was employed for
10 years in the Auditing – Assurance Services Department in one of the Big Four
accounting firms of Cyprus, where he held the position of the Senior Manager. His
duties included the handing of a broad portfolio of clients in the banking, investment
management and financial services sector, and was also involved in advisory and
consulting projects in the banking industry. He was an active member of the Learning
and Education team of the firm, participating as an instructor for internal training
programs. Between May 2015 and May 2019, Christos held the position of CFO for
the biggest card acquirer and processor of Cyprus, while also acting as the Company
Secretary and Secretary of the Board of Directors. As of July 2017 Christos has also
been delivering the ACCA Advanced Audit and Assurance paper with great success
at the School of Professional Studies - Limassol centre. As of May 2019, he joined the
School of Professional Studies on a full time basis as a tutor for both ICAEW (Financial
Management and Business Planning Banking) and ACCA (Financial Reporting and
Advanced Audit and Assurance) papers.
Christophorou Kyriaki, BA, ACA
AA Evening Course
Kyriaki earned her BA (Honours) in Finance, Accounting and Management from the
University of Nottingham and then qualified as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant
achieving the fifth place worldwide in the annual order of merit. She joined the
Audit and Assurance department of a big 4 audit firm providing audit services to
a portfolio of clients in the financial services sector, developing strong expertise in
auditing, finance processes and financial analysis. After 5 years, Kyriaki joined the
Internal Audit department of a systemic bank in Cyprus and she currently holds the
position of Internal Audit Manager. As part of the internal audit for more than 5 years
she is managing a wide range of audits and has gained extensive knowledge of the
banking industry. Through these years of professional experience, Kyriaki has built
an in-depth knowledge and solid understanding of what is required to pass the exam.
Karayiannides Georgia BA (Hons), ACA
AA Block Release Course
Georgia is a qualified chartered accountant (ACA), a member of ICPAC and a holder of
Bachelors degree, first class, in Accounting and Finance from Lancaster university (UK).
She qualified as a chartered accountant with one of the Big 4 Companies in Cyprus (Audit
and Assurance) and has 11 years of experience in accounting /reporting departments in
large local and international organisations. Georgia teaches the AA evening course with
enthusiasm and assists students to adopt a structured step by step approach to their
studies to enable them succeed in their examination.
Koutalianou Christina BSc, ACA
FM Evening Course
Christina has a BSc in Public and Business Administration (Accounting) from the
University of Cyprus and she is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants
in England and Wales (ICAEW). She is currently working in one of the Big Four firms
in Cyprus as an Assistant Manager in the audit department. Her responsibilities
include leading the engagement team in audit assignments of a portfolio of clients
operating in various industries, through which she enhanced her knowledge and
gained valuable experience in accounting and auditing. She is a member of the
Learning Team of the firm with significant experience in facilitating various internal
seminars.
